I'll be backing Team Europe to win the 2025 Ryder Cup at +170 odds via DraftKings. A winning $10 bet would return a $17 profit, an extra $1 compared to the shorter +160 odds at BetMGM and Caesars.
Team Europe is more experienced in the Ryder Cup, with only one debutant, and that consistency is key for me when betting the competition. Team USA has three newcomers, and I think it works agains them that Harris English and J.J. Spaun automatically qualified in the first six spots. I view both as a weak link against the European roster.

Prediction: Europe 2.5 - USA 1.5
I have Europe winning the morning foursome matches 2.5-1.5 over Team USA. I greatly respect Team USA captain for leading strong with Bryson DeChambeau and Justin Thomas - two of the biggest fan favorites on the roster - but I see Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton as perfectly equipped to wait out that early surge of noise at Bethpage Black and keep a level course to come back and earn a split in the first match.
We can pencil Scottie Scheffler and Russell Henley in to win the first full point of the 2025 Ryder Cup. They rank No. 1 and 3 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), respectively. Aberg and Fitzpatrick each had a rather disappointing 2025 golf season and enter the Ryder Cup ranked 12th and 16th in the world, respectively.
I have Team Europe sweeping the final matches of the morning wave to take the Day 1 lead at 2.5-1.5 - taking a 1-point lead into Saturday.
