Blake Corum anytime touchdown (-400 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Touchdowns are a bit fluky to predict, unless we're talking about Michigan running back Blake Corum. The talented tailback has scored 25 touchdowns this campaign, finding the end zone at least once in all 14 contests thus far. He's scored multiple touchdowns in six straight outings entering the national championship.

The days of getting value on Corum's touchdowns odds are long gone, with him trading around -400 or -425 to score against Washington. The best odds you can get on Corum to score multiple touchdowns is +115 at BetRivers. He's +125 to record Michigan's first touchdown via BetMGM, which is an angle I suggested taking in our Expert Picks column for this game.

Given Corum's steep touchdown odds, we recommend only using it in same-game parlays for the national title game. And that's why this is the first leg of our Corum-led SGP.

Corum's rushing prop has been set at 101.5 yards, which is right in line with our projection. The best price on his Over can be found at FanDuel, which is offering -114 odds on him to clear 102.5 rushing yards. Those looking for an Under ticket should shop at BetMGM, which is providing -115 odds on Corum to finish below 104.5 rushing yards.

DraftKings and FanDuel are the only shops that offer alternate rushing markets, so we're heading to the latter sportsbook to play this SGP. Corum is listed at -650 to reach 70-plus rushing yards via DraftKings, moving the overall odds on this parlay to -125.

Corum ran for 83 yards against Alabama last time out, and we anticipate Michigan leaning on its ground game in an attempt to keep Washington's offense off the field. The Huskies rank 126th in the nation in success rate against the run, and the Wolverines will be happy to keep the ball in Corum's hands as much as possible.

Michigan ML (-210 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This SGP likely comes down to whether Michigan wins the game. If you prefer to root for the exciting Washington team, then this parlay simply isn't for you. But I've thought Michigan was a top-two team in the country since the summer, and I'm not about to back down from that now.

My numbers make Michigan a touchdown favorite over Washington. It's easy to forget the Huskies were double-digit underdogs in the Pac-12 championship just two games ago, but it feels like the market might be overcorrecting a bit here with this spread sitting between -4.5 and -5.

Perhaps I'm too high on Michigan and that's what ultimately dooms all of my bets. After all, anything can happen in a single game. I just believe Michigan's strength in the trenches will prevail, and head coach Jim Harbaugh will get the last laugh after a season filled with controversy.
