Two quarterbacks and an under-the-radar wide receiver comprise my trio of USC vs. Nebraska player props for Saturday’s clash at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Neb. (7:30 p.m. ET, NBC).
My college football picks for this Big Ten battle — which features No. 23 USC as a 4.5- to 5-point betting favorite — are part of our larger package of college football predictions for Week 10.

💵 Best USC vs. Nebraska player prop bets
- Jayden Maiava player prop: Over 276.5 passing yards (-114 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Dylan Raiola player prop: Under 1.5 passing touchdowns (-113 via Caesars) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Ja’Kobi Lane player prop: to score anytime touchdown (+160 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐
💰 Best USC vs. Nebraska player props
⬆️ Jayden Maiava player prop: Over 276.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Fact: Nebraska has the second-best pass defense in the country, allowing only 127.5 yards per game. (Only Ohio State, at 124.6 ypg, is better). Fact: Nebraska has faced one quarterback ranked in the top 50 nationally in passing yards. That was Maryland’s Malik Washington, whose 245 passing yards per game rank 36th. Washington’s total against the Huskers in Week 7: 249 yards.
Which brings me to USC quarterback Jayden Maiava, the nation’s third-leading passer (311.4 ypg) who pilots the nation’s No. 1 passing offense. The UNLV transfer has cleared 280 yards five times in seven games. Last week, with the Trojans’ top two running backs sidelined after suffering long-term injuries the previous week, Maiava lit up Notre Dame for 328 yards.
FanDuel’s -114 odds on this USC vs. Nebraska player prop equate to a 53.27% implied win probability. Bet $10 to win $8.77.
⬇️ Dylan Raiola player prop: Under 1.5 passing TDs (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
USC’s defense has surrendered multiple touchdown passes in all but two of its six FBS games (and 14 aerial scores in all). Given that, you’d think I’d be backing Dylan Raiola with this USC vs. Nebraska player prop — especially since the Cornhuskers’ quarterback has racked up 17 touchdown passes. Ah, but that number is misleading, because 11 of Raiola’s TDs came in the first four games (including a combined six against Akron and Houston Christian).
Raiola’s TD totals in his last four outings: one (Michigan State), four (Maryland), zero (Minnesota) and one (Northwestern). Back to the Trojans’ beleaguered secondary: The two times it didn’t allow multiple scoring passes were on the road.
Head to Caesars and grab the best odds at -113. The implied win probability is 53.05%, and you can pocket $8.85 on a $10 wager.

6️⃣ Best touchdown scorer prediction for USC vs. Nebraska
🔥 Ja’Kobi Lane to score a touchdown (+160) ⭐⭐
No USC player has spent more time in the end zone than wide receiver Makai Lemon. His seven total touchdowns are two more than any other Trojan, and his six receiving scores are three more than anyone else. Which is why Lemon is a massive favorite to score at Nebraska.
So for this USC vs. Nebraska player prop, I’m rolling with Lemon’s fellow wideout, Ja’Kobi Lane. Granted, Lane only has three touchdowns. But he scored in each of the last two games against Michigan and Notre Dame. That’s one more TD than Lemon logged in those contests.
Without question, DraftKings’ +160 odds are the best in the market. The implied win probability is 38.46%, and the payout on a winning $10 wager is $16.
