Ole Miss vs. Georgia Same-Game Parlay for College Football Playoff | Sugar Bowl SGP Picks & Odds

My Ole Miss vs. Georgia same-game parlay for the Sugar Bowl envisions a rout in favor of No. 3 Georgia. The outlier weakness of No. 6 Ole Miss defensively relative to the rest of the CFP field should rear its head in a matchup of this nature, as evidenced in part by Georgia being listed as a 6.5-point betting favorite.
The action for the College Football Playoff quarterfinal kicks off from Caesars Superdome in New Orleans at 8 p.m. ET (ESPN). My college bowl game predictions have a play on the spread, a rushing yards prop, and a passing yards prop.

Georgia -6.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Before we were very certain about how good Georgia really was this year, we saw this matchup play out with the Bulldogs eventually pulling away from Ole Miss, 43-35, a margin that covered the spread and would cover this one for Thursday.
Since that game, Georgia is 6-0 and has dispatched five out of six opponents by a margin greater than this spread. Ole Miss has the 53rd-ranked adjusted defensive efficiency, by far the lowest among the CFP quarterfinalists. That’s the type of outlier that reveals itself at this stage of the tournament.
This play also features in our Ole Miss vs. Georgia predictions.
Gunner Stockton Over 42.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Gunner Stockton has logged 28 rushing attempts over his last two games, showing a willingness to make things happen with his legs. In the first matchup with Ole Miss, Stockton rushed for his second-highest total of the season (59 yards).
With Mississippi State’s Kamario Taylor’s 173-yard rushing performance still on my mind, I’m looking for Stockton to exploit the inevitable holes in an Ole Miss run defense that ranks 70th nationally (153.6 yards per game).
Trinidad Chambliss Over 252.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
With Georgia boasting the fourth-ranked run defense in the nation, allowing just 82.3 rushing yards per contest, I’m anticipating Ole Miss being forced to rely upon the arm of Trinidad Chambliss to keep this matchup respectable.
Chambliss has cleared this passing line in 10 out of 11 starts this season, including throwing for 263 yards in the regular-season battle with Georgia. Allowing 209.8 passing yards per game, the Bulldogs rank 47th in pass defense and should be more vulnerable to this aspect of the Ole Miss offense.
If you'd rather look to his passing attempts instead of his yardage total, then our Ole Miss vs. Georgia player props have you taken care of.
