💵 Best Ohio State vs. Michigan anytime TD picks
- Carnell Tate TD pick: To score anytime TD (+125 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Jordan Marshall TD pick: To score anytime TD (+110 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
- Jeremiah Smith TD pick: To score 2+ TDs (+600 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐
💰 Best Ohio State vs. Michigan touchdown scorer bets
🔥 Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State (+125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
After missing nearly a month, projected first-round pick Carnell Tate is set to be back on the field for Ohio State as he attempts to beat Michigan for the first time in his career. While Jeremiah Smith gets most of the attention, Tate has proven to be one of the best big-play threats in the country with his ability as a vertical threat.
Michigan's defense has struggled against the pass at times this season, ranking just No. 44 in EPA per pass and allowing more than double the amount of TD passes that Ohio State has allowed (12 vs. 5). With Tate having the best contested catch rate of any player with at least 10 contested targets this season (92.3%), he should take advantage of Michigan's mediocre cornerback play.
Tate is the only player in the country averaging over 3.5 yards per route run (3.52) with double-digit contested catches (12), which is why he's my favorite TD pick in my Ohio State vs. Michigan player props. If he scores for the seventh time in nine games, a $10 bet pays a $12.50 profit.
🔥 Jordan Marshall, RB, Michigan (+110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Everyone knows Michigan wants to run the football, and why wouldn't Sherrone Moore's team stick to what's worked against Ohio State in the past? Last year, the Wolverines ran for 172 yards and a score, the year before it was 156 and two scores, in 2022 it was 252 and three, and in 2021 it was 297 and six ... yes, six.
With breakout sophomore running back Jordan Marshall returning to the field, Michigan's going to want to lean on the ground game; the Wolverines are No. 8 in EPA per rush after all. Plus, Marshall has been a star since taking over for the injured Justice Haynes. In his last four games, he's rushed for 570 yards and seven touchdowns.
Obviously, Ohio State has an elite defense, but if anyone is going to score on it, it's going to be a Michigan running back. For the Wolverines to cover, like our Philip Wood projects in his Ohio State vs. Michigan prediction, Marshall needs to put six on the board. And if he does, a $10 bet pays an $11 profit.
🔥 Jeremiah Smith, WR, Ohio State (+600) ⭐⭐
You'd have a hard time arguing that Smith isn't the best player in college football. The sophomore is already expected to be a top-three pick in the 2027 NFL Draft, and he's been about as unstoppable as any player in recent memory over his first two seasons. The All-American is already No. 7 all-time in receiving touchdowns at Ohio State (25).
As a true freshman last season, he put one touchdown on the board in The Game, but the second time around, I think he's got a shot at scoring twice. Michigan's secondary has been inconsistent this season, and the only receiver it's seen that's even close to Smith's talent is USC's Makai Lemon. Lemon had nine receptions for 93 yards and a score against the Wolverines in a blowout win.
It's a long shot that Smith will score twice, but he's a threat to go to the house on every snap -he's averaging the highest yards per route run in the country of any player with at least 80 targets (3.43). With Julian Sayin throwing him the ball, Smith could score two TDs in a game for the fifth time this season.
If he pulls it off and makes two house calls, a $10 bet pays a $60 profit.
