My college football touchdown scorer predictions for Week 1 look to some of the nation's premier wide receivers to find the end zone on Saturday.

I highlight three key pass catchers - Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith, Alabama's Ryan Williams, and Clemson's Antonio Williams - with my latest college football picks for Saturday's Week 1 slate. I believe all three players provide value for bettors in the weekend's biggest matchups.

Our college football predictions for Week 1 offer up even more betting action through Monday's games.

💰 Best Week 1 touchdown scorer bets

Here are my favorite touchdown scorer bets based on the best college football odds for Week 1.

🔥 Jeremiah Smith anytime touchdown scorer (-108) ⭐⭐⭐

The term "revenge game" is usually reserved for those on the losing end of certain results. While Jeremiah Smith's Ohio State got the best of Texas in last year's College Football Playoff, Smith didn't cover himself in glory. He recorded just one catch for three yards - both of which were comfortably season low totals.

If you don't think that performance is still on Smith's mind, I'm sorry to say, you don't know the mentality of elite athletes. The Biletnikoff Award hopeful caught touchdown passes in 75% of the Buckeyes' games last year, so I'm expecting him to come out of the gate hot in a monumental top-three matchup.

The best college football betting sites all juice Smith's odds to find the end zone versus Texas. Play this at Caesars, which is the only shop offering this prop at better than standard juice.

🔥 Ryan Williams anytime touchdown scorer (-105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ryan Williams, much like Smith, enjoyed a sensational start to his freshman campaign. The Crimson Tide wideout hauled in touchdowns in six of his first seven collegiate contests. However, as the season went along, Alabama's offense included Williams less and less.

After becoming an end zone regular in the first half of the season, racking up seven scores, Williams went missing the rest of the year. He scored just one more touchdown in the remaining six games. This led to Nick Sheridan being demoted as Kalen DeBoer brought back his trusty assistant, Ryan Grubb.

Grubb will ultimately be tasked with getting the Crimson Tide's offense back on track, but those efforts begin with putting the ball into the hands of No. 2. I expect Williams to get a lot of looks early against Florida State as Alabama looks to make an early statement.

Williams is trading as high as -140 at the best sports betting sites to find the end zone in Week 1. However, BetMGM blows other books out of the water with its -105 betting odds for this anytime touchdown scorer prediction. A $10 wager will return $9.52 in profit if the sophomore standout ends his three-game scoreless drought.

🔥 Antonio Williams anytime touchdown scorer (+110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cade Klubnik and Antonio Williams have developed a special bond. The Clemson returnees connected 75 times last season, with the latter racking up over 900 yards and 11 touchdowns. Those were all team highs, and heading into Year 3 of playing together, I'm expecting special things from this duo.

I'm not alone either, with our Rob Paul touting Williams as a Biletnikoff Award sleeper.

One of the few questions still surrounding LSU's roster relates to its secondary. The Tigers will be without one of their many transfers, A.J. Haulcy, for the first half of their matchup with Clemson. I expect the hosts to look to get on the scoreboard early by testing LSU's defensive backfield with Bryant Wesco and Williams.

If Williams can start this season with a score - something he failed to do last year against Georgia - a $10 plus-money wager returns $11.
