Our college football player props based on the best NCAAF odds will be shooting for upside in Week 6.

I've said all season that we plan to learn from this weekly college football player props column, especially as props continue to become more popular across our best sports betting apps. Sportsbooks are still releasing new markets, and we are hoping to take advantage.

We certainly did that last week, when DraftKings started releasing some juicy prices on alternate markets. Texas running back Jonathan Brooks cashed two tickets — +140 for 100-plus rushing yards and +360 for 125-plus yards — for us in a big win over Kansas last weekend.

Thanks to those hefty payouts, we are still up on the season. This week, however, we plan to lean into this alternate market to take advantage of some nice plus-money prices in hopes of capitalizing in a big way when we are right.

To accompany all of our college football predictions for Week 6, here are our best college football player props for Week 6 (odds via our best college football betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

College football player props for Saturday Week 6

Daniel Hishaw Jr. Over 0.5 rushing touchdowns (+145 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐

In Week 2, we hit a juicy +240 payout on Kansas running back Daniel Hishaw Jr. to score a touchdown. It was all thanks to our best sports betting sites pricing him as the No. 4 running back on the depth chart when he's actually the primary backup behind Devin Neal.

We are going back to the well with Hishaw via another mispriced line. Hishaw has -110 (or worse) anytime touchdown odds, but we can gain some extra value by betting this prop at DraftKings on a rushing touchdown. If Hishaw is going to score, it's going to be on the ground.

Hishaw, who has become KU's short-yardage and red-zone option, has yet to catch a single pass for the Jayhawks. Despite this, Hishaw has scored three times in four games to start the 2023 campaign and has 10 touchdowns over his previous nine outings dating back to last season.

This prop is my top play in our Week 6 CFB expert picks for a reason, as I believe Kansas will lean on the ground game with quarterback Jalon Daniels sidelined for the second week in a row. Let's hope Hishaw can punch at least one touchdown in against UCF on Saturday.

Quinshon Judkins 90-plus rushing yards (+100 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Similar to our Will Howard ladder bets on Friday night, we are shooting for upside with Ole Miss running back Quinshon Judkins ahead of Saturday's SEC showdown with Arkansas. Judkins has a rushing prop of 86.5 at DraftKings, with the Over juiced to -115, but we are taking advantage of some plus-money prices by shopping the alternate rushing market instead.

At DraftKings, Judkins is +100 to record 90-plus rushing yards against Arkansas. We would also suggest sprinkling a little extra on 100-plus rushing yards at +150, as we project him to build off a strong Week 5 performance.

Judkins broke out for 177 yards and one touchdown on 33 carries against LSU last week. It marked a season high in both rushing attempts and yards, as he has 378 yards on 90 carries entering this weekend.

It certainly doesn't hurt that FanDuel has already moved Judkins' rushing prop to 91.5 yards, with the Over juiced to -114. But in a game that should be uptempo, we expect Judkins to flirt with another 100-yard performance for an Ole Miss squad looking to improve to 5-1.

College football player props for Friday Week 6

Will Howard Over 23.5 rushing yards (+105 via Barstool) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kansas State quarterback Will Howard has a rushing prop of 23.5 across our best sports betting sites, though Barstool (+105) and Caesars (+102) are the lone shops offering a plus-money price on the Over. This line is as high as 26.5 at BetMGM.

Howard cleared this mark in two of his last three games, with the lone exception being a 21-yard performance against Missouri when he injured his leg during that game. Howard bounced back for 64 yards on seven rushing attempts against UCF, and K-State had a bye last week, so we expect him to be healthy against Oklahoma State.

Barstool has also set a rushing attempts prop of 9.5 for Howard, indicating he should be involved in the run game on Friday night.

Over the last three weeks, Howard is actually averaging 39 rushing yards per game on over eight attempts per contest. That's why we would be willing to place another bet on him to record 40-plus rushing yards for a price of +290 at DraftKings, as a three-star pick, to shoot for more upside.

With a projection north of 30 rushing yards, take advantage of Howard's rushing discount against an OSU defense that has yet to face a dual-threat quarterback.

Our Mike Spector has more on this matchup in his Kansas State-Oklahoma State predictions.

Will Howard anytime touchdown scorer (+105 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐ ✅

We are betting big on Howard's legs with another plus-money prop for Friday's matchup.

Howard is featured plenty in the red zone as a runner, something his offensive coordinator Collin Klein was known for during his playing days at K-State. Klein recorded 56 rushing touchdowns during his collegiate career between 2009-12, which included 50 over his final two seasons.

Howard has certainly made his OC proud, recording five rushing touchdowns in four games to start the 2023 campaign. The only game that Howard didn't score was once again at Missouri, though we've already established he wasn't 100% in that game.

Bet on Howard to score at least one rushing touchdown in a Big 12 matchup that could feature plenty of points.
