💰 Best college player prop bets

Our college football player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

⬆️ Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State: Over 68.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The reason to bet the Over on Carnell Tate? Jeremiah Smith. The existence of the best receiver in the country sure makes it hard for defenses to focus on Tate, a likely first-round pick in April. We saw that last week against Minnesota when Tate went for 183 yards and a score on nine receptions. And, because of Smith, Tate's line is still set fairly low at our best college football betting sites.

With Smith's line set at 91.5 against Illinois, Tate is the better play, especially with his ability as a vertical threat making it possible for him to hit this Over on just a few receptions. Illinois has also struggled mightily to stop the pass since losing star cornerback Xavier Scott to injury. The Illini rank No. 94 in EPA per pass on defense and gave up 151 yards to Makai Lemon and 92 to Elijah Sarratt - those two rank top 10 in the Big Ten in yards per route run, along with Tate (3.6).

Tate has already gone Over 68.5 yards in three of his last four games, averaging 96.5 receiving yards over that stretch. If he manages 69-plus receiving yards against an Illinois defense allowing the most passing yards per game in the Big Ten (252.3), a $10 bet pays an $8.77 profit.

⬆️ Ahmad Hardy, RB, Missouri: Over 91.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though Alabama is playing like a college football championship odds contender in recent weeks, Missouri should be able to stay in this matchup if it leans on its star running back. While Jeremiyah Love is set to be the first back selected in the NFL draft in April, Ahmad Hardy could have that honor in 2027 when the sophomore is draft-eligible.

The UL Monroe transfer has thrived for the Tigers while running behind one of the country's top offensive lines. The combo of Hardy behind this O-line has Missouri ranked No. 9 in EPA per rush, and leaning into the ground attack is the key to upsetting Alabama - the Crimson Tide are just No. 63 in EPA per rush on defense.

Hardy has been one of my favorite players to bet this season, with him consistently hitting the Over on his rushing totals. The potential All-American leads the country in rushing yards (730) and forced missed tackles (46), which is why I can't believe BetMGM is offering this line at 91.5 - other books have it at 99.5. If Hardy hits the Over, a $10 bet pays an $8.70 profit.

⬇️ Arch Manning, QB, Texas: Under 205.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Regardless of whether or not Heisman Trophy odds contender John Mateer can play for Oklahoma, the Sooners should be favored (they're currently a 1.5-point underdog). There's just no reason to have any confidence in Arch Manning against top-tier defenses at this point, and there's no better pass defense in college football than Brent Venables' at Oklahoma.

The Sooners are allowing the second-fewest passing yards in the country (118.4), second-lowest average yards per attempt (4.8), and fourth-lowest passer rating (93.5), and they have surrendered just one touchdown pass all season. Led by star pass rusher R Mason Thomas, Oklahoma leads the Power Four in sacks (21) and ranks first nationally in EPA per pass on defense.

Meanwhile, Manning ranks 70th in the country in QBR (59.6) and 108th in adjusted completion rate (69%), and he features the fourth-highest turnover-worthy play rate (6.7%). He's averaging 182.3 passing yards per game against opponents that rank in the top 100 in SP+ on defense (Oklahoma ranks No. 2), and if he goes Under 205.5 against the Sooners, a $10 bet pays an $8.70 profit.

⬇️ Jackson Arnold, QB, Auburn: Under 36.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Put on Auburn's game against Oklahoma, and it won't take long to realize why the Sooners moved on from Jackson Arnold. For as dynamic an athlete as he is, the former blue-chip recruit has zero awareness in the pocket, and his internal clock seems to be broken with his inability to realize when he needs to get rid of the football.

That's how a guy who ran for 137 yards on 16 carries against an iffy Baylor defense in Week 1 has since rushed for 55 yards on 54 carries in his last four games. Remember, sacks count against rushing yards in college football, and Arnold is the most sacked QB in the sport (20). That includes being sacked 14 times in two SEC games (Texas A&M, Oklahoma) and finishing with a combined 35 carries for 0 yards in those games.

So, even with Georgia's defense taking a slight step back since its back-to-back championships under Kirby Smart, don't expect Arnold to do much damage against a defense ranked third in EPA per rush. If the Auburn QB finishes Under this rushing total for the third time in four games, a $10 bet pays an $8.77 profit.

⬆️ Makai Lemon, WR, USC: Over 82.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's a handful of wide receivers who have a shot at the Biletnikoff Award through the first six weeks of the season, but you'd be hard-pressed to find many voters who wouldn't at least have Makai Lemon in the top two alongside Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson. And while Tyson is expected to be the first wide receiver drafted in April, Lemon has over 100 more receiving yards than him and has drawn comparisons to Seattle Seahawks star Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Lemon leads the Power Four in receiving yards (589) and ranks top 10 in the country in yards per route run (4.5), YAC (277), forced missed tackles on receptions (13), and first-down catches (24). It doesn't hurt that he's catching passes from Jayden Maiava, who leads the country in QBR (93.4). And despite Michigan's defense being one of the best in the Big Ten, it sits just No. 54 in EPA per pass this season.

As the focal point of Lincoln Riley's offense, Lemon should have every opportunity to hit this Over against Michigan. If Lemon can go Over 82.5 receiving yards for the fifth time in six games this season, a $10 bet pays an $8.77 profit.
