πŸ’° My best ATS picks for Week 14

πŸ¦† Oregon (-6.5) vs. Washington ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dan Lanning's program is just one win away from guaranteeing itself a spot in the College Football Playoff, so expect the Ducks to be extra motivated when they head to Seattle to take on Washington in the Fight for the Forest. Oregon's coming off its most impressive win of the season, in which Dante Moore and Kenyon Sadiq were unstoppable.

Those two have Oregon ranked No. 11 in offensive SP+, and should expose a Huskies team that's just No. 77 in EPA per pass. Even with the offensive injuries the Ducks are dealing with, they should be able to generate enough explosive plays with Sadiq and their deep running back room against a Washington team that looks better on paper than in reality.

Although Jedd Fisch's name has been connected to several high-profile job openings, Washington hasn't shown up in games against quality defenses. In three games against defenses ranked in the top 40 by SP+, Washington is averaging 7.6 PPG and is 0-3 ATS ... Oregon is ranked No. 5 on defense by SP+, and it doesn't help that Jonah Coleman and Denzel Boston are banged up for UW.

If Oregon can cover the spread for a third straight game, a $10 bet at bet365 pays a $9.09 profit.

βš”οΈ USC (-20.5) vs. UCLA ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The teams that Oregon and Washington played last week square off this week, with USC looking to get back on track and retain the Victory Bell by winning its second straight over UCLA in this crosstown showdown. While the Bruins did have a dead cat bounce after firing DeShaun Foster, the feline has no spriginess left after four straight losses by an average of 32.2 PPG.

UCLA's most recent outing was its most embarrassing, too, losing by 34 points at home to a Washington team that played Coleman and Boston a combined 14 snaps. If the Bruins couldn't slow a Huskies team that was essentially down its top two playmakers, how's it going to stop Makai Lemon and Ja'Kobi Lane? UCLA is just No. 97 in defensive SP+, while USC ranks No. 3 in the country in EPA per pass behind Jayden Maiava and his two stud receivers.

And while questions surround USC's defense once again after the Ducks picked it apart in the second half last week, the Bruins aren't much of a threat. UCLA is averaging 14.2 PPG in its last five games, and Nico Iamaleava is once again dealing with an injury.

Even with the pressure turning up on Lincoln Riley after another year of missing the College Football Playoff, his Trojans should blow out their rivals. If UCLA fails to cover for a sixth straight game, a $10 bet on USC pays a $9.09 profit at bet365.

πŸ…ΎοΈ Oklahoma (-10) vs. LSU ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It used to be that Bedlam would often end up on the final weekend of the college football regular season. But with Oklahoma now in the SEC and no longer scheduling Oklahoma State for the foreseeable future, the Sooners are playing LSU this weekend for just the fourth time in program history. Though OU's only win over the Tigers came over a half-century ago in the Sugar Bowl, Brent Venables' team is catching LSU at the perfect time.

The only time these two teams have played in the regular season was last year on the final Saturday before conference championship weekend. LSU won 37-17 last year and had Venables on the hot seat going into bowl season. A lot can change in a year, with LSU now the team looking to hire a head coach and Oklahoma one win away from reaching the CFP.

With so much on the line for the Sooners, and LSU fans more worried about Lane Kiffin than this matchup, Oklahoma should bully the Tigers. Venables' defense is the best in the SEC and ranked No. 3 by SP+, while LSU's offense ranks outside the top 85 in both EPA per pass and rush.

And even with John Mateer's inconsistent play, the Sooners' dominant defense and special teams should get them a decisive win at home against an LSU team that struggled with Western Kentucky last week. If LSU fails to cover for a sixth straight game, a $10 bet at Caesars pays a $9.35 profit.
