Featured in my college football picks and TD props this week are a basketball-playing pass catcher at LSU, two of the most explosive receivers in the SEC, and a QB getting his first taste of a legendary rivalry.

💰 Best Week 8 anytime touchdown scorer bets
Here are my favorite anytime touchdown scorer bets picks based on the best college football odds for Week 8.
🔥 Trey'Dez Green (+330) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
While LSU's offense is still inconsistent, QB Garrett Nussmeier may have finally found a go-to pass catcher in Trey'Dez Green. Last week against South Carolina, the 6-foot-7 Green saw a career-high 11 targets, pulling in eight of them for 119 yards and a touchdown.
It's not hard to see why the part-time power forward also plays for the LSU basketball team, with his ridiculous frame and catch radius helping him lead LSU in contested catches this season (4). Against Vanderbilt, Nussmeier and Green will have every opportunity to connect, with the Commodores allowing the most TD passes in the SEC (11) and ranking just No. 111 in EPA per pass on defense.
Green's odds to score against Vanderbilt are as short as +250 at our other best college football betting sites, making these odds at DraftKings hard to pass up. If he scores his third TD in five games, a $10 bet pays a $33 profit.
🔥 Mario Craver (+105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The SEC is loaded with future NFL receivers, but it's Mississippi State transfer Mario Craver who leads the conference in receiving yards (634). The dynamic sophomore is poised to add to that total with a huge Saturday against arguably the worst defense in the SEC when the Aggies take on Arkansas.
The Razorbacks are No. 120 in EPA per pass, are allowing the second-most passing yards per game in the conference (251.0), and have given up the second-most TD passes in the SEC (9). With Craver's YAC ability - he leads the country in YAC (391) and is fourth in the SEC in missed tackles forced on receptions (21) - he should be able to exploit Bobby Petrino's team's defensive issues.
Fellow Texas A&M receiver KC Concepcion is another worthy TD scorer to back (-115 at FanDuel), and both could score, which makes parlaying them both to score at bet365 an enticing alternative (+230 odds). If you play just Craver, a $10 winning bet pays a $10.50 profit.
🔥 Ryan Williams (+105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It hasn't been the season many expected out of Ryan Williams, with drops being an ongoing issue for the sophomore speedster. However, he's still scored three touchdowns in five games and is poised for a major bounce-back performance against Tennessee. If Williams scores in this one, a $10 bet pays a $10.50 profit.
The Volunteers' defense has been a massive issue, giving up 35.3 points per game in SEC play. The pass defense has been particularly bad, with Tennessee ranked No. 98 in EPA per pass on defense and allowing the most passing yards per game in the SEC (257.8) while giving up the second-most TDs (9).
And despite Williams' drops, his Heisman-contending QB, Ty Simpson, still has a 131.8 NFL QB rating when targeting him, so I don't expect him to shy away from throwing to his big-play receiver. I'm taking the Over on Simpson throwing 2.5 TDs in my college football player prop picks this week, too.
🔥 Devon Dampier (+100) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The best rivalry game happening in Week 8 is the Holy War between Utah and BYU, with both teams ranked and leaning on similar styles of play. Both these teams want to run the ball, and both want to heavily involve their QB in the run game, too. That's why these even money odds on Devon Dampier to score are too good to pass up.
Dampier is top five among Power Four QBs in forced missed tackles (18) and runs of 15-plus yards (6), with his slippery open field running bound to cause issues for a BYU defense that ranks outside the top 30 in EPA per rush. Dampier, who ran for 19 touchdowns in 12 games at New Mexico last season, has found the end zone four times in his last two games.
With at least one rushing TD in three of four games against P4 opponents this year, Dampier's odds to score in the Holy War are as short as -125 at our other best sports betting sites. That implies a 55.56% probability he'll put six on the board, but these odds pay a $10 profit on a $10 bet.
