In a week that's lacking many marquee matchups, my college football anytime touchdown scorer predictions and college football picks are targeting the biggest game on the slate, a pair of top running backs, and one of the best transfer portal additions of the year.
The biggest focus of my college football predictions for Week 6 is to find the best value on the board, so all four of my anytime touchdown scorer predictions for today are plus-money.

💰 Best Week 6 anytime touchdown scorer bets
Here are my favorite anytime touchdown scorer bets picks based on the best college football odds for Week 6.
🔥 Justice Haynes to score 2+ TDs (+240) ⭐⭐⭐
One of the best running backs in the country this season, Justice Haynes is 13th in the country in rushing touchdowns (6), having scored at least once in every game. With his nose for the end zone, his shortest odds to score against Wisconsin are -200, implying a 66.67% probability he'll find pay dirt at least once.
Due to the Badgers' lack of quality opponents this season, they're among the better run defenses in the country on paper ... and that's working to my favor, with Haynes priced at +240 to score twice today. The Badgers haven't played a running back as talented as talented or as explosive as Haynes - he's top 15 in the country in rushing yards after contact (311) and 15-plus-yard runs (7).
If Haynes can score twice against a Wisconsin defense that's ranked outside the top 25 by SP+, a $10 bet pays a $24 profit.
🔥 Junior Sherrill anytime TD (+240) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Last year, Alabama and Vanderbilt combined for 75 points in the Commodores' historic upset of the Crimson Tide. This year, I expected plenty of scoring again with the way Diego Pavia and Ty Simpson are playing. One player benefiting from the play of QB Diego Pavia has been Junior Sherrill, who scored in the win over Alabama last year.
One of the team's most trusted pass catchers, Sherrill leads Vanderbilt in first down receptions (13), and Pavia has a 150.9 NFL QB rating when targeting his speedster. Against an Alabama defense that's outside of the top 40 in EPA per pass, the junior could get loose.
Sherrill is second on Vanderbilt in touchdowns this season (6), with one fewer than running back Sedrick Alexander, who's priced at +110 to score against the Tide. And with Sherrill having scored in four of five games this season, including a hat trick last week against Utah State, these longer odds ($24 profit on a $10 bet) are the best bang for your buck when it comes to betting on a Commodore to score.
🔥 Terrance Carter Jr. anytime TD (+135) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Firmly in the Mackey Award conversation after the first month of the season, Terrance Carter Jr. is one of many transfers that has thrived for Texas Tech this season. He's already matched his touchdown total at Louisiana last year with four through the first four games of this season, including finding the end zone in two straight games.
After recording just four receptions in the Red Raiders' first two games against lesser opponents, Carter has been a far bigger piece of the puzzle in Texas Tech's last two matchups. Against Oregon State and Utah, Carter caught 13 of 16 targets for 151 yards and two scores. The former Ragin' Cajun ranks top 10 among tight ends in YAC (132), yards per route run (2.86), contested catches (4), and first down receptions (14).
With how productive he's been, Carter should remain a big piece of the offense against a Houston defense that's yet to play an offense that ranks higher than No. 47 in SP+; Texas Tech ranks No. 3. If Carter can score for a third straight game, a $10 bet pays a $13.50 profit.
🔥 Fluff Bothwell anytime TD (+120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Between his name and his dynamic play, Fluff Bothwell took the hearts of college football sickos by storm last year when he was running wild for South Alabama as a true freshman. He parlayed his eye-popping play into a shot in the SEC, and it's paying off for him and Mississippi State bettors - the Bulldogs are 5-0 ATS thanks in large part to their improved run game.
Bothwell, who scored 13 touchdowns in 12 games for South Alabama last year, leads Mississippi State with six touchdowns this season. Coming off a two-touchdown outing against the Bulldogs' toughest opponent yet (Tennessee), Bothwell should continue doing damage tonight against Texas A&M - he's top 30 in the country in rushing yards after contact (259) and 10-plus-yard runs (11).
This prop is as short as -105 at our other best college football betting sites, implying a 51.22% probability Bothwell will score against Texas A&M. But at this price from bet365, a $10 bet pays a $12 profit.
💡 Most bet anytime touchdown scorers Week 6 (tickets at BetMGM)
- Bryce Underwood (MICH) -105
- Justice Haynes (MICH) -220
- Jordan Marshall (MICH) +120
- Nico Iamaleava (UCLA) +650
- Arch Manning (TEX) +155
