Best Minnesota vs. California Player Prop Bets Tonight: College Football Week 3 Odds & Expert Picks

My college football picks get rolling this weekend with my best Minnesota vs. California player props.
As part of my college football predictions for Week 3, I’m looking to attack Unders on the Golden Bears' offense as a result of the quality of the Golden Gophers' defense that will oppose it. We’re fading California running back Kendrick Raphael in this difficult matchup while riding Drake Lindsey’s reachable passing yardage line.
Minnesota is a 2.5-point betting favorite on the road as the action kicks off tonight from California Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, Calif., at 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN).

⬇️ Kendrick Raphael Under 46.5 rushing yards (-118) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

California running back Kendrick Raphael carried just nine times for 37 yards in the Golden Bears’ only FBS game of the season, a 19-point win in a positive game script. His rushing line for Week 3 is above that mark despite a tough matchup on the ground.
Minnesota has allowed just 63 team rushing yards through two games, posing as one of the top run defenses in the country. FanDuel and BetMGM list the total at 45.5 yards, so we’ll take Raphael Under 46.5 rushing yards at Caesars with -118 odds.
The implied probability of the bet at Caesars is 54.13%. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $8.47.
⬆️ Drake Lindsey Over 202.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Against a Buffalo defense that ranks a respectable 53rd in efficiency per FPI, Minnesota QB Drake Lindsey put up 290 passing yards. While Cal’s defense (22nd in efficiency) is more daunting, Lindsey’s line this week is attainable against a Golden Bears secondary that allowed 248 yards to Oregon State.
With the line at 202.5, FanDuel is the top choice of the best sports betting sites for an Over bet on this prop, compared to -115 odds on that line from BetMGM and a 203.5-yard line set by Caesars. The implied probability of the bet at FanDuel is 53.27%, while the potential profit on a $10 bet comes out to $8.77.
🔥 Javon Tracy anytime touchdown scorer (+185) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In a game that expects minimal scoring (40.5 total), Minnesota’s team total at 21.5 is our best chance to identify an anytime touchdown scorer. Though the Gophers have five rushing touchdowns to four passing scores on the year, their scores in their only FBS game came from two passing touchdowns.
Javon Tracy is an experienced receiver who scored touchdowns in 7-of-13 games played last year (53.8%) and has one TD so far this season.
With +185 odds to score across each of our best sports betting apps, Tracy’s recent history suggests a higher probability to find the end zone than the 35.09% implied probability at those odds. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $18.50.

How do college football player props work?
Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more college football odds markets.
