My best LSU vs. Clemson player props to our college football predictions for Week 1 have plenty to choose from as two of the best quarterbacks in the country, Garrett Nussmeier and Cade Klubnik, battle in a clash in AP top 10 ranked teams.
Clemson is favored by between 3.5 and 4.5 points ahead of tonight's 7:30 p.m. ET (ABC) kickoff at Memorial Stadium in Clemson, S.C. My college football picks anticipate key offensive players from both teams performing well.

🔥 Antonio Williams anytime touchdown scorer (+110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Betting $10 to win $11 on a player to score a touchdown usually isn’t great value. But in the case of Antonio Williams, this is one of the best prop bets for this game.
Williams scored 12 touchdowns last season, including at least one in nine of his 14 games. He even scored one in the College Football Playoff against a Texas defense that finished last season as the second-best scoring defense in the nation.
The price from Caesars suggests that Williams has a 47.62% chance of scoring in this game, and I think that’s undervaluing him. LSU gave up nearly 25 points per game in 2024-25 and struggled against the pass. In a solid matchup, I expect Clemson’s best receiver to find the end zone at least once.

⬆️ Bryant Wesco Jr. Over 56.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Clemson returns all three of its leading receivers from a season ago. Bryant Wesco Jr. finished last season with the second-most yards and fourth-most receptions, but I like his potential in this game the most.
Wesco recorded at least 61 yards in four of his final five games. In all, he topped 56.5 yards in six of his 12 games. He is the Tigers’ best big-play threat after recording two touchdowns of 70 or more yards last season, and he begins this year against a defense that barely ranked in the top 75 in passing yards allowed in 2024-25.
Caesars is offering the total at 54.5, but the price for the Over is -125. The price from bet365 suggests a 53.49% chance that Wesco records more than 56.5 receiving yards, and a $10 bet pays $8.70, so I recommend wagering there.

⬆️ Garrett Nussmeier Over 284.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though I like Cade Klubnik’s matchup better, Garrett Nussmeier proved last season that he can throw for a lot of yards against anyone. In 13 games, he managed at least 285 yards nine times, and he never threw for less than 233.
The Clemson pass defense ranked in the middle of the country last season, so if anyone is going to slow Nussmeier down, it’s unlikely to be the Tigers. That said, get in sooner rather than later, as I wouldn’t take this number much higher than where it is right now.
Of the four major best sports betting sites offering this prop, two have the Over set at 289.5. Both are asking -115 for the Over, which is a slightly worse price than the -114 FanDuel is asking for five fewer yards. The current price suggests a 53.27% chance this Over hits. A $10 bet would pay $8.77.

How do college football player props work?
Player props are wagers on individual performances rather than the outcome of the game. Common props include passing yards, rushing yards, receiving yards, and touchdown scorers. For example, if a QB’s passing yards line is set at 250.5, you can bet the Over (251-plus yards) or Under (250 or fewer yards). You can also bet on if a specific player will score a touchdown in the entire game, the first or last touchdown, and more.
