These are arguably the two worst defenses taking the field in bowl season, so I expect offensive fireworks. And while Louisiana has a vaunted run game, the Ragin' Cajuns have been one-dimensional this season.
Delaware, meanwhile, has one of the best QBs in the Group of Six in Nick Minicucci, who has a combined 32 touchdowns this season. With Minicucci at the helm, and surrounded by a deep wide receiver room, the Fightin' Blue Hens should keep things close, if not win outright.
Delaware might have extra motivation, too, with this being the first bowl in program history.

Against Louisiana's defense, which is ranked No. 117 in the country by SP+, Minicucci and his receivers should have a field day. The playmaker poised to have the biggest game for Delaware is Kyre Duplessis, who's been a breakout star for the Fightin' Blue Hens.
The Coastal Carolina transfer is top 10 in the Conference USA in YAC (269) and first down receptions this season (33). He was also one of my favorite players to bet on during Weekday CUSA in October because of how well Delaware designs plays to get him the ball.
Duplessis has scored six times this season, with his biggest performance coming in Delaware's best win, a 44-41 upset victory over UConn in which he had nine receptions for 161 yards and a score. If he can score in Delaware's first-ever bowl, a $10 bet pays a $16.30 profit.
