Our college football predictions for Week 6 continue with my Kentucky vs. Georgia prediction for Saturday's SEC matchup in Athens, Ga.

Georgia is a massive 20.5-point home favorite, but my college football picks expect the road underdogs to cover the massive spread. Kickoff is at noon ET at Sanford Stadium (ABC).

Stay ahead with the rest of our early college football predictions for Week 6.

😾  Kentucky +20.5 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

The Bulldogs are 3-1 and have a 44-41 win at Tennessee on their resume. However, last week’s loss to Alabama, and a close game against Austin Peay in Week 2 have me doubting their ability to blow out anyone.

The Wildcats lost to South Carolina by 22 points, giving up 178 rushing yards in the process. However, stopping the run hasn’t been a huge issue for the Wildcats, as they’re allowing just 3.8 yards per carry this season. Georgia is averaging 5.0 yards per carry, but it averaged just 3.6 yards per carry against Tennessee. I expect the Wildcats to fluster the Bulldogs’ run-first offense and keep this relatively close.

FanDuel is offering +20.5 for -104. This implies the Wildcats have a 50.98% chance of covering. A $10 bet would pay $9.62.

🔍 Kentucky vs. Georgia odds analysis

The spread has already dropped from 21.5 to 20.5 at the best sports betting sites. While I don’t expect the number to get below 20, the betting public will really have to love Georgia to get this spread back above three scores. I’m thinking it will stay at 20.5 all week, but I’d be much more confident in the Wildcats at 21.5.

The total is sitting at 48.5. Both teams have had two games go above and below this number. With so much still undecided about these teams, I don’t expect this number to move much, if at all.
