My best Kennesaw State vs. Jacksonville State player props for the Conference USA Championship at AmFirst Stadium in Jacksonville, Ala., focus on Cam Cook, Coleman Bennett, and Pearson Baldwin. Kennesaw State is a 2.5-point betting favorite ahead of Friday's kickoff at 7 p.m. ET (CBSSN).
These two teams met on Nov. 15, with Jacksonville State winning 35-26. As I continue with our college football conference championship predictions, I highlight how certain results from that game will impact what happens on the field on Friday.

Cam Cook player prop: Over 118.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Cook has rushed for at least 100 yards in all but two games, and he’s yet to rush for fewer than 75. He has eight performances of at least 120 yards, and when he faced Kennesaw State earlier this season, he ran 27 times for 132 yards.
I’m expecting a similar performance from Cook on Friday, as he leads the third-ranked rushing attack against a Kennesaw State defense that is allowing 172.6 rushing yards per game. The only thing preventing this from being a five-star play is that Kennesaw State is allowing 4.4 yards per carry, which is fifth-best in the conference. But Cook is averaging 5.7 yards per attempt this season, and he managed 4.9 yards per carry against the Owls in mid-November.
BetMGM’s price of -115 implies a 53.49% chance that Cook hits this Over. A $10 bet would profit $8.70.
Coleman Bennett player prop: Over 15.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bennett doesn’t play a huge role in the passing attack, as he’s never caught more than three passes in a game this season. However, he enters this game with three receptions in each of his last three games, including against Jacksonville State. In that contest, he finished with 36 yards.
The biggest problem with Bennett in the receiving game is that he has three games with zero receptions. However, when he does catch the ball, he makes the most of it. In six of the nine games where he’s caught a pass, his longest reception of the game was at least 15 yards. He has four receptions of at least 20 yards this season, including a 21-yarder against Jacksonville State.
FanDuel’s price of -114 implies a 53.27% chance that this Over hits. A $10 bet would profit $8.77.
Best Kennesaw State vs. Jacksonville State touchdown scorer bet
Pearson Baldwin TD pick: Anytime touchdown scorer (+500) ⭐⭐⭐
The most likely scorers in this game, such as Cook, Caden Creel, and Amari Odom, all have prices of at least -130 to find the end zone. Because of that expense, I’m going to back a player that enters this game red-hot, but is still considered a long shot.
Baldwin didn’t score once during his first 10 games, but he’s scored in back-to-back weeks. Additionally, although he caught only two passes against Kennesaw State, he recorded 60 yards. He’s also averaging 11.7 yards per reception, which is the most of any Jacksonville State player with at least 25 catches, so he’s a threat to score from anywhere against a defense allowing 238.8 passing yards per game.
Caesars’ price of +500 implies a 16.67% chance that Baldwin scores. A $10 bet would profit $50, much more than the $25 you’d get from the same bet at bet365.
