My best Kennesaw State vs. Jacksonville State anytime touchdown scorer predictions for tonight’s 7 p.m. ET (CBSSN) Conference USA Championship at AmFirst Stadium in Jacksonville, Ala., focus on Gabriel Benyard, Pearson Baldwin, and Christian Moss. Kennesaw State is favored by 2.5.

When these two teams met earlier this season, Caden Creel scored twice, while Amari Odom, Cam Cook, and Deondre Johnson all scored once. However, with the prices for those players providing little value, I’m backing three other scorers as part of my college football conference championship predictions.

Gabriel Benyard, WR, Kennesaw State (-139) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Benyard leads Kennesaw State in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns this season. He’s scored twice in three of his last four games. But he failed to find the end zone against Jacksonville State.

However, Benyard still produced a solid game against Jacksonville State, catching five passes for 100 yards. Therefore, I don’t anticipate Benyard struggling to get meaningful opportunities against the conference’s fifth-worst pass defense, which has also allowed 18 passing touchdowns.

Benyard has scored in seven of his 12 games this season. Caesars’ price of -139 implies that he has a 58.16% chance of making it eight of 13. A $10 bet would profit $7.19 if one of the most likely Kennesaw State vs. Jacksonville State anytime touchdown scorer predictions hits.

A touchdown from Benyard could be part of a high-scoring game, as our Matt Jacob anticipates in his Kennesaw State vs. Jacksonville State prediction.

Pearson Baldwin, TE, Jacksonville State (+500) ⭐⭐⭐

When picking my best Kennsaw State vs. Jacksonville State player props earlier this week, I highlighted Baldwin in this matchup. While he’s not the most likely player to score, his price provides the most value of any player with a chance to find the end zone.

Baldwin has scored in back-to-back weeks. Though he has five games with just one reception, he’s caught multiple passes in three consecutive outings, and he tallied two grabs for 60 yards against Kennesaw State earlier this season.

Kennesaw State has only given up 17 passing touchdowns this season, which is part of the reason I’m going with a longer shot rather than Jacksonville State’s leading receiver Deondre Johnson (+285) in this matchup. DraftKings’ price of +500 implies a 16.67% chance that Baldwin scores. A $10 bet would profit $50.

I also tabbed Baldwin as part of my Kennesaw State vs. Jacksonville State player prop bets.

Christian Moss, WR, Kennesaw State (+210) ⭐⭐⭐

Despite Kennesaw State scoring just one passing touchdown the first time the school played Jacksonville State, I’m backing two of their receivers to score in this game. Moss has been productive all season, as he’s second on the team in receptions (38) and receiving yards (602). However, he’s only scored twice, despite recording at least 66 yards in seven of his 10 games.

Kennesaw State has recorded 24 passing touchdowns this season, which is the second-most in Conference USA. And while Jacksonville State has allowed more rushing touchdowns (21) than passing touchdowns (18), the value for Moss to score is simply better than any Owls rusher. The two Kennesaw State players with the most rushing touchdowns are Coleman Bennett and Amari Odom, whose prices are -143 and +115, respectively.

Caesars’ price of +210 implies a 32.26% chance that Moss scores. A $10 bet would profit $21.
