In what's being viewed as the biggest mismatch in the first round of the College Football Playoff, my James Madison vs. Oregon predictions project the Ducks to fly on by the Dukes with ease.
Oregon is a 20.5-point betting favorite for Saturday's 7:30 p.m. ET (TNT/HBO Max/truTV) matchup from Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore., in the final CFP game among the college football bowl games this week.

Oregon -20.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is truly a David vs. Goliath matchup, except this time, David has no chance. If James Madison were playing another team in the first round, I'd have some belief they could cover. But this Oregon program is ranked No. 4 in the country by SP+.
The Ducks have a future top 10 pick at QB, a Joe Moore Award finalist O-line, and a defense full of future NFL players. The speed and size difference between these two teams is stark.
Alonza Barnett III is going to be under too much pressure to keep up with Dante Moore.
Score prediction: Oregon 37, James Madison 13

Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon: 2+ TDs (+450) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
No player taking the field will expose the difference in athleticism between a future NFL first-round pick and a Group of Six starter like Kenyon Sadiq. The Ducks' star pass catcher is expected to be the first tight end drafted in April, and likely in the top 20.
Sadiq is the definition of a freak, and with Moore throwing him the ball, he's poised to find the end zone against James Madison. However, he's been such a good bet to score that he's being priced between -136 and -163 to do so at our best college football betting sites.
That's why I'm taking a bigger swing and betting Sadiq to put two tuddies on the board against a defense that doesn't have a defender capable of stopping him down the seam or in contested catch situations.
Sadiq has scored two touchdowns in two of his last five games, and can push a JMU defense that's been more susceptible against the pass than run.
