My best Indiana vs. Oregon prediction explores who has the advantage in Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. ET (CBS) AP top-10 matchup. Oregon is a 7.5-point betting favorite in the battle of unbeatens at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore.
Public bettors are split evenly on who they think will cover the spread when making their college football picks for this week. Below, I highlight why the Ducks covering at home is one of my best college football predictions for Week 7.

🆚 Who will win Indiana vs. Oregon?
Both of these teams have looked dominant this season, but it’s Indiana’s performance on the road against Iowa that has me concerned about them. They trailed that game with less than 10 minutes remaining, as the Hawkeyes shut down the high-powered Indiana offense for 58 minutes.
While Oregon needing double overtime to beat Penn State looks a lot less promising after Penn State lost to UCLA last week, Oregon led by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Oregon can score on anyone, and it will prove that again on Saturday, while Indiana’s offense will struggle after showing blemishes for the first time two weeks ago.
Prediction: Oregon 28 - Indiana 17

🦆 Oregon -7.5 (-104) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Oregon’s most recent game was a double-overtime win over Penn State. However, the final score was much closer than the actual contest. Oregon led 17-3 in the fourth quarter and outgained Penn State 424-276 in one of the hardest environments in the nation to play.
Quarterback Dante Moore was exceptional in that game, throwing for 248 yards and three touchdowns. He’s thrown just one interception this season. While Indiana is allowing just 133.4 passing yards per game, the Hoosiers haven’t faced a quarterback like Moore, who is averaging 9.0 yards per attempt.
Indiana is averaging 47.8 points, but it had just 10 against Iowa with 10 minutes remaining. I expect struggles to continue against a defense that allowed just four touchdowns in the first 19 quarters of the season.
FanDuel’s price of -104 implies that Oregon has a 50.98% chance of covering. A $10 bet would pay $9.62.

⬇️ Elijah Sarratt Under 75.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Indiana wide receiver Eljiah Sarratt has three games with at least 92 yards, and he caught seven passes for 156 yards and a touchdown against Iowa in his last time out. However, I’m expecting him to struggle against a defense that hasn’t allowed a receiver to go for more than 75 yards since Week 1.
Oregon is allowing just 123.4 passing yards per game. Like Indiana, some of these stats are inflated due to weak competition, but allowing opponents to complete just 52.1% of passes this deep into the season is remarkable. And while Sarratt has had three great games, he also has two games with just three catches. He didn’t hit 50 yards in either of those contests.
The price of -114 at FanDuel suggests a 53.27% chance that Sarratt goes below 75.5 receiving yards. A $10 bet would pay $8.77.
