With my Georgia vs. Alabama same-game parlay for college football Championship Week, I’m expecting a tightly contested rematch after No. 3 Georgia fell to No. 9 Alabama earlier this season 24-21 in Tuscaloosa.
The action for Georgia vs. Alabama kicks off from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta today at 4 p.m. ET (ABC). Georgia is a 2.5-point betting favorite as part of our college football conference championship predictions.

Georgia vs. Alabama SGP & parlay picks
Georgia ML (-130) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
It feels like it’s time for Kirby Smart to get another one over on Alabama, right? Smart is just 1-7 in his career against the Crimson Tide, with the lone win coming in a pretty big spot (2022 CFP National Championship Game). Alabama got the better of the Bulldogs already once this season, but Georgia’s offense seems more equipped to deliver a win at this stage of the season.
Alabama hasn’t produced more than 27 points in a conference game since October, averaging 23.3 points per game across its last three SEC contests. Georgia has averaged 33.0 points per game in SEC play since the Bama loss.
Our Rob Paul also dove further into this matchup as part of his Georgia vs. Alabama player props.
Alabama team rushing total Under 97.5 yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Part of my logic for siding with Georgia in this rematch is that Alabama has been extremely one-dimensional offensively. The Crimson Tide can’t run the ball consistently. Whether Jam Miller plays or not, I don’t trust him to be efficient (4.0 yards per carry).
Alabama ranks 114th in FBS in rushing offense, producing just 113.5 yards per game on the ground. Georgia boasts the seventh-ranked run defense in FBS, allowing 90.0 rushing yards per game. The Bulldogs have given up just 43.7 rushing yards per game across their last three contests.
Daniel Hill anytime TD scorer (+105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here’s where we get contrarian. While Alabama hasn’t been able to move the ball downfield consistently with its run game, 244-pound sophomore running back Daniel Hill has emerged as a legitimate goal-line threat.
Hill has scored in five of his past seven games (71.4%), logging six touchdowns in that span. His anytime TD prop carries +105 odds from FanDuel for an implied probability of 48.78%, and the contrarian nature of this prop when paired with our other parlay legs boosts the overall SGP odds substantially.
