As two college football powers prepare for a rematch in the SEC Championship, my Georgia vs. Alabama player props project both the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide to lean on the styles of play that got them this far.

No. 3 Georgia is a 2.5-point betting favorite against No. 9 Alabama for Saturday's 4 p.m. ET kickoff (ABC) from Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. As part of our college football conference championship predictions, I'm backing both QBs, Ty Simpson and Gunner Stockton.

Nate Frazier player prop: Over 60.5 rushing yards (-113) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A big reason I'm backing the Bulldogs to cover in my Georgia vs. Alabama prediction is because of the emergence of running back Nate Frazer. The sophomore got off to a bumpy start this season with fumbles leading to reduced playing time, but over the last six games of the season, he's become the bell cow for Mike Bobo's offense.

Since Week 8, Frazier has averaged 14.6 carries for 95.6 rushing yards per game against Power Four opponents. Expect a heavy dose of him against an Alabama team that's down one of its star defensive linemen, LT Overton, and has been inconsistent in stopping the run this season. The Crimson Tide are allowing 124.3 rushing yards per game.

Frazier went for 30 rushing yards on just four carries the last time Georgia played Alabama, and with him having gone Over 60.5 rushing yards in four of his last five Power Four matchups, he should rumble by this number. If he does (53.05% probability), a $10 bet pays an $8.85 profit.

Ty Simpson player prop: Over 247.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though Georgia's defensive improvements in the back half of the season are a big part of why the Bulldogs are a 2.5-point betting favorite in the rematch with Alabama, Georgia is still most susceptible through the air. Kirby Smart's team ranks outside the top 20 in EPA per dropback on defense and outside the top five in the SEC in passing yards allowed per game (204.8).

Couple that with the fact that Alabama's run game is borderline non-existent, especially if running back Jam Miller is limited or doesn't play (he's questionable), and the Tide are going to need to go to the air early and often. Simpson has been one of the best QBs in the country this season, too, ranking top 20 nationally in passing yards (3,056), QBR (79.5), and big-time throws (21).

Against Power Four opponents, Simpson is averaging 268.3 passing yards per game and has gone Over 247.5 passing yards in eight of 10 P4 matchups. With this line set at 250.5 (-115) at our other best college football betting sites, it's a must-play at Caesars, where a $10 winning bet still pays an $8.70 profit while needing three fewer yards to cash.

Given the Crimson Tide's propensity for passing, our Mike Spector has an Alabama wide receiver scoring as one of his college football best bets

Gunner Stockton TD pick: Anytime TD (+180) ⭐⭐⭐

Two of my favorite TD plays for this game are Frazier to score his seventh touchdown of the year (+150 via FanDuel) and Stockton to add a ninth rushing score to his stat line. With Alabama's run defense being the best way to attack the Crimson Tide, I expect Bobo to lean heavily on Stockton's mobility to give the Bulldogs an extra body to account for in the ground game.

While Stockton isn't the most explosive runner, he's top 25 among P4 QBs in rushing yards after contact (256). And he's more than willing to tuck it and go on non-designed run plays, ranking No. 6 among P4 QBs in scrambles (43), while sitting No. 19 among P4 QBs in rushing yards on designed runs (275).

Stockton's legs have been a big piece of Georgia's offensive attack in the Bulldogs' nine P4 games, with him averaging 9.2 carries in those matchups and scoring six times. If he finds the end zone against Alabama, a $10 bet pays an $18 profit. This same prop is priced as short as +120 (45.45% probability) at our other best sports betting sites.
