Gunner Stockton, QB, Georgia (+210) ⭐⭐⭐

Sometimes, the best anytime TD scorer bets just come down to math. That is the case here with Stockton. The Georgia quarterback has run for a score eight times this year, including one score in 12 of his 12 games (and one score in five of his eight SEC games). That’s good for a hit rate over 50%.

Further, Stockton’s anytime TD scorer odds point to value, too. While we can buy him at the generous price of +185 (32.3%) at FanDuel, he is +163 (38%) at Caesars, +135 (42.6%) at DraftKings, and +120 (45.5%) at bet365 – a range of over 13% in implied probability.

Let’s hope bet365 has the sharper line and back the Georgia signal-caller at FanDuel to score an $21 profit from a simple $10 bet.

Zachariah Branch, WR, Georgia (+155) ⭐⭐⭐

After a somewhat slow start to the season, wide receiver Zachariah Branch has taken over the Georgia receiver room. His number gets called frequently on screens, limiting his average yards per catch (10.2), but he still has the explosiveness necessary to turn a routine catch into a touchdown.

Branch’s four receiving scores on the year aren’t impressive, but his 68 receptions actually lead the SEC. That kind of volume is exactly what we want with an anytime TD scorer from the favored team. With Alabama dealing with several key injuries, let’s trust the top Dawg receiver to find pay dirt.

This bet will cost you +155 (39.2%) at DraftKings. It’s as low as +120 at other books.

Kaleb Edwards, TE, Alabama (+350) ⭐⭐

Alabama’s top tight end, Joshua Cuevas, is questionable and hasn’t played since the Oklahoma game. That has thrust backup Kaleb Edwards into a higher-volume role. Assuming Cuevas continues to miss time (he isn’t available on the anytime TD scorer market), Edwards stands out as a decent value bet.

The Crimson Tide have looked to the tight end position somewhat often in the red area. Cuevas has four touchdowns on just 30 receptions. Edwards also has a touchdown to his name, which came all the way back in the opener. With Edwards catching two balls from Ty Simpson last week, he is a sensible target.

The odds aren’t great here, with Edwards listed at only +350 (22.2%). Still, he isn’t a bad play with Simpson’s willingness to hit tight ends in the end zone, and a $10 bet will turn a nice $35 profit.
