Florida State’s defense entered last week ranked eighth in EPA/rush and in the top 15 in available yards allowed and early-downs EPA allowed. The Seminoles’ third-down defense last week wasn’t exactly poor, holding Pitt to just 5-of-14 third-down conversions. But Florida State was undone by three fourth-down conversions that extended Panthers drives.
Stanford is 0-5 ATS in its last five October games, and its two outright wins this season came against San Jose State and Boston College teams that are a combined 3-9 SU.
