With our Duke vs. Virginia anytime touchdown scorer predictions, we’re targeting Virginia’s rushing offense in a major way. In a game with a lofty total, this should be a great spot for the strong Virginia ground attack to coalesce with Duke’s weak run defense.

The action for the ACC Championship between Duke and Virginia kicks off from Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., Saturday at 8 p.m. ET (ABC). Virginia is a 4-point betting favorite as part of our college football conference championship predictions.

J’Mari Taylor, RB, Virginia: 2 or more TDs (+135) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Virginia’s offense has produced 28 rushing touchdowns on the season, compared to just 16 passing scores. RB J’Mari Taylor leads the way with 14 touchdowns, accounting for 31.8% of the team’s offensive touchdowns.

Taylor has produced multiple touchdowns in four of his 12 games played (33%). While the 42.55% implied probability associated with +135 odds from bet365 aren’t overly favorable in a vacuum, we still like the prop due to the extremely favorable nature of the matchup against Duke on the ground.

Duke has allowed 27 rushing scores compared to just 16 passing touchdowns on the season. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $13.50.

Cooper Barkate, WR, Duke (+105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Though Virginia has allowed just 13 passing scores this season, the Cavaliers aren’t much more friendly against the run (15 rushing TDs allowed). Considering my expectation that Duke will be playing from behind, I am targeting a senior leader in the Blue Devil receiving corps with +105 anytime TD odds from DraftKings (48.78% implied probability).

Senior WR Cooper Barkate has accounted for six receiving touchdowns on the season for Duke. Though he hasn’t scored since Nov. 15, that last touchdown came in this very matchup against Virginia.

A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $10.50.

Chandler Morris, QB, Virginia (+210) ⭐⭐⭐

Similar to our expectations for J’Mari Taylor, we’re taking a peek at some solid anytime TD scorer odds for Virginia quarterback Chandler Morris to beat Duke with his legs given the Blue Devils’ proclivity toward allowing rushing touchdowns.

Morris has scored his five touchdowns across three out of 12 games (25%) but he found the end zone in his most recent game, suggesting he’s still willing to use those legs when the matchup dictates. This one does.

FanDuel’s odds on this prop at +210 lap the field, equating to an implied probability of 32.26%. A winning $10 wager on this prop would profit $21.00.
