⬇️ Cade Klubnik Under 261.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐

While Clemson has struggled to limit opposing explosive plays, UNC has fared much better. The Tar Heels lead the conference in explosiveness allowed and have allowed an impressively low 27% success rate on passing downs. This has translated into their defense ranking 59th in yards allowed per pass attempt (6.9), and the unit has looked better than it did in the opening beatdown by TCU.

Klubnik, who was an early Heisman contender with NFL aspirations, has not taken the step forward that some expected of him this season. His passing efficiency score (124.6) has regressed to below the level he performed at last year (148.2), and he is now averaging only 249 passing yards per game. The Tigers are also on the road, where Klubnik’s passing efficiency dips to 128.8 for his career.

All signs point to at least some value on the Under in this spot. Bill Belichick’s defense hasn’t lived up to the hype quite yet, but the Tar Heels are coming off a bye, so if there were ever a time for them to turn things around, this should be it. Trust Belichick’s squad to turn things around and limit Klubnik to Under 261.5 passing yards for -115 (53.5%) at BetMGM.

⬆️ Max Johnson Over 167.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With starting quarterback Gio Lopez doubtful, UNC is expected to start backup Max Johnson in his stead. Johnson has taken over for Lopez several times this season, and the results have been encouraging. He posted a solid passing efficiency score (136.3) while averaging 5.7 yards per attempt. The Freddie Kitchens-coached offense leaves a lot to be desired, but I trust the veteran Johnson to go Over a surprisingly low passing yardage prop on Saturday.

While Clemson’s defense has been less of an issue than its offense, explosive passing plays have been a big issue for the Tigers all season. LSU’s Aaron Anderson caught a 39-yard pass against them in the opener. Since then, Troy’s Tray Taylor caught a 44-yard pass, Georgia Tech’s Eric Rivers caught a 42-yard pass, and Syracuse’s Johntay Cook caught a 59-yard pass. A standard performance from Johnson plus one or two passing explosives should push him Over this number.

Fade the Clemson defense by buying Johnson for Over 167.5 passing yards for -114 (53.3%) at FanDuel to score an $8.77 profit on a $10 bet.

⬇️ Adam Randall Under 87.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐

If you’re going to fade a member of the Clemson offense, I recommend fading Klubnik before running back Adam Randall, but he is a decent candidate to bet against as well. Randall exploded for 100-plus rushing yards against Syracuse but failed to clear the 88-yard mark in any other game this season. He didn’t even clear 20 yards against LSU as Clemson bailed on the running game early.

As with Klubnik, this pick largely comes down to the UNC defense. While I don’t trust the Tar Heels to win this game, they should at least make life somewhat difficult for the Tigers. UNC is near the top of the board in rushing explosiveness allowed, stuff rate, and defensive line yards. It’ll be tricky for Clemson to get the ground game going, and the 87.5 feels like a best-case scenario for Randall.

You can buy the Under 87.5 rushing yards for -114 (53.3%) at FanDuel.
