Boise State vs. Nevada Player Prop Bets Tonight: Best Player Props & TD Picks for Week 9

Nevada hasn’t allowed an individual opponent to rush for more than 83 yards this season, so bank on that streak ending with one of my Boise State vs. Nevada player props.
Boise State Broncos running back Dylan Riley (24) carries the ball and is projected to go Over his rushing prop in our Boise State vs. Nevada player prop bets tonight.

The market doesn’t expect much drama tonight in this matchup, and I certainly don’t expect to be sweating my best Boise State vs. Nevada player prop bets.

The visiting Broncos (5-2) are a 21.5-point betting favorite against the Wolf Pack (1-6) tonight, with kickoff from Mackay Stadium in Reno, Nev., set for 10 p.m. ET (CBS Sports Network). Rest assured, this point spread factored greatly into my college football picks for this contest, as part of our college football predictions for Week 9.

💰 Best Boise State vs. Nevada player props

Our college football player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.

Dylan Riley player prop: ⬆️ Over 93.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Boise State running back Dylan Riley destroyed UNLV last week, rumbling for a career-best 201 yards on just 15 carries - his fourth 100-yard rushing game this season. Riley’s rushing yards in the Broncos’ other three games: 20, 33, and 46. However, the opponents in those three contests rank 29th (South Florida), 21st (Notre Dame), and 23rd (Appalachian State) nationally in rush defense.

UNLV? It ranks 131st out of 136 teams. The other two FBS opponents that Riley ran over - New Mexico and Air Force - are 31st and 110th. Nevada checks in at No. 88, yielding 156.7 yards per contest. Granted, no single player has topped 83 rushing yards against the Wolf Pack. But they haven’t faced a back who averages 8.1 yards per carry, like Riley.

FanDuel’s -114 odds on this Boise State vs. Nevada player prop imply a 53.27% win probability. Risk $10 to win $8.77.

Carter Jones player prop: ⬆️ 170.5 passing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

Nevada handed its offense over to true freshman Carter Jones in Week 6, and the kid has gotten a bit better with each game. He came off the bench and threw for 121 yards against Fresno State, then 194 yards against San Diego State, and finally 202 yards against New Mexico last week. That’s called steady progress, which is impressive for a teenager.

With the Wolf Pack being a three-touchdown underdog in this contest, odds are Jones will have ample opportunities to air it out with the game out of reach in the second half. And there’s a good chance he’ll have success, as all six of Boise State’s FBS opponents have racked up at least 182 passing yards.

Make this wager at Caesars, where the -114 price equates to a 53.27% win probability. If it hits, you’ll pocket $8.77 on a $10 bet.

Our Isaiah Sirois expects Jones to help Nevada cover the spread in his Boise State vs. Nevada prediction & picks tonight, along with a play on the total.

6️⃣ Best touchdown scorer prediction for Boise State vs. Nevada

Track the latest college football scores for line movement and matchup info.

🔥 Sire Gaines to score first touchdown (+525) ⭐⭐

Boise State sophomore Sire Gaines’ 373 rushing yards and six total touchdowns actually rank second on the team behind backfield mate Dylan Riley (695 yards, seven total TDs). However, Riley reached the end zone just once in the Broncos’ last four games, while Gaines hit pay dirt twice in each of the last two games. What’s more, Gaines scored the very first touchdown in both contests.

Gaines’ anytime TD price (as high as -185) is too prohibitive to play. And Riley’s odds are less favorable (-230). So I’m betting on Gaines to score the first touchdown for a third straight week. As for Nevada, it has allowed 13 rushing scores and has tallied the first TD just twice in seven games.

Caesars offers the best odds on this Boise State vs. Nevada player prop. The implied win probability is low (16%), but a winning $10 bet would pay $52.50.
