No. 25 Arizona is a slim 1.5-point betting favorite over No. 20 Arizona State despite hitting the road for this one. Arizona is out of the conference race, but Arizona State holds a very slim chance to make it with a win on Friday night.

💰 Best Arizona vs. Arizona State player props

⬇️ Jeff Sims player prop: Under 175.5 passing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

After a shaky start to the year, Arizona has strung together some impressive conference wins. Through November, no quarterback has cleared the 200-yard mark against the Wildcats' defense. They now rank fifth nationally in yards allowed per pass attempt (5.6).

Arizona State lost quarterback Sam Leavitt for the rest of the year, leaving backup Jeff Sims to take the controls. He hasn’t been awful, but Sims is averaging 196.7 passing yards per contest over his last three starts.

Sims’ questionable passing production over that sample came against the 62nd (7.1), 119th (8.3), and 90th (7.6) defenses by yards allowed per pass attempt. Let’s fade him against the best defense he’ll face all season. Lock in the Under 175.5 for -114 (53.3%) through FanDuel.

⬇️ Jordyn Tyson player prop: Under 65.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

Jordyn Tyson, Sims' leading receiver, stands out as another sharp player to fade. Tyson has missed a bunch of time this season with various ailments, but he returned last week versus Colorado and snagged two passes from Sims for 61 yards.

Tyson and Sims haven’t done much together this year. In Sims’ first start, which came versus Utah, Tyson caught eight of Sims' throws but for only 40 yards. That plus the Colorado game gives us an average of 50.5 receiving yards for Tyson per Sims start, which is well below this line.

Arizona’s defense will be too tricky for Sims to exploit effectively. So with Tyson projected to be on the other end for 37.3% of Sims’ passing yardage, fading either (or both) should prove profitable. Lock this one in for -114 (53.3%) at FanDuel to turn an $8.77 profit on a $10 bet.

6️⃣ Best Arizona vs. Arizona State touchdown scorer bet

🔥 Kris Hutson TD pick: anytime TD scorer (+190) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Arizona may have found something over the last few weeks with shifty wide receiver Kris Hutson. After surpassing the 100-yard mark just once in seven games, Hutson has done so in both of Arizona’s most recent contests, including a 133-yard, one-score performance a week ago.

The Wildcats and quarterback Noah Fifita clearly trust Hutson in big spots. He scored at Iowa State and versus BYU earlier in the season. He also popped off for 123 yards versus Cincinnati. All of those teams were ranked at the time of the matchup, which is again the case on Friday.

You’ll find Hutson at +190 (34.5%) on bet365 despite clocking in well below +150 (40%) at through most of the other best sports betting sites. Take advantage of the outlier number and hope for another big game from the Arizona wideout.
