Kaelon Black, RB, Indiana (+120) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Indiana’s Kaelon Black is second on the team in carries and rushing yards, but he is also the only Hoosier with more than six rushing scores on the season.

Black benefits from running behind an offensive line that ranks 24th in yards before contact per rush, and should expose an Alabama defense that ranks 104th in that same metric. And even if the Crimson Tide load the box to stop the run, they still rank outside the top 70 in yards per attempt allowed (4.4) in a stacked box.

While I love Black to score, our Isaiah Sirois makes the case for his backfield mate in our Alabama vs. Indiana player props.

Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana (+151) ⭐⭐⭐

Omar Cooper Jr. leads Indiana in receptions and receiving yards, and he ended the regular season with at least one touchdown in four consecutive games, and five of the final six. Yet it is fellow receiver Elijah Sarratt who has the shortest anytime touchdown odds (as short as -115), which makes Cooper’s anytime touchdown odds extremely appealing.

Indiana’s offensive line ranked 21st in pressure rate allowed, while Alabama generated pressure at the 110th-highest rate. And when Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza has a clean pocket, he has completed 77% of his passes for an FBS-best 10.1 yards per attempt.

Cooper could be in for a big day. He also features in our Alabama vs. Indiana predictions.

Ryan Williams, WR, Alabama (+370) ⭐⭐

Ryan Williams regressed to just four touchdown grabs in his sophomore season after totaling 10 touchdowns last year. But he has great value to score a touchdown as Alabama’s biggest downfield threat against a boom-or-bust Indiana secondary.

Outside the red zone, the Crimson Tide take downfield shots often, with 24% of their throws being at least 15 yards downfield. Alabama ranks a respectable 42nd in completion percentage on such throws, while Indiana ranks 84th in completion percentage allowed on throws of that depth.
