MGM Resorts International Reports Record Revenue Totals for Q3 2024
The parent company of one of our best sports betting sites has reported its Q3 2024 financials, and the outlook is positive.
MGM Resorts International, the parent company of BetMGM, reported year-over-year growth of 5.3% in revenue, totaling $4.18 billion. MGM China, which reported $929.5 million in net revenue, did much of the heavy lifting in that number.
The nine-month revenue for the company hit $12.89 billion, an increase of 9.3% from the same period last year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, amortization, and restructuring or rent costs (EBITDAR) clocked in at $1.14 billion for Q3, bringing the nine-month period to $3.57 billion.
Casino revenue was responsible for 50.7% of the $4.18 billion ($2.12 billion), despite that the Las Vegas Strip resort revenue not showing significant growth.
