It is so early to take a run at this, before the players have even landed with their respective teams. But that timing does offer some potential for value and will depend on how confident you are that a player will go to a specific team. Every player in the NFL, no matter what kind of talent they have, is dependent on the team around them.

Last season’s Offensive Rookie of the Year was Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, the fifth pick in the draft. He was the first wide receiver selected. Considering how passing-focused the NFL game has become, that might add some relative appeal to running backs Breece Hall and Kenneth Walker III, who may not be drafted as early as top wide receivers, but still could have a significant impact in their rookie seasons.
