It is so early to take a run at this, before the players have even landed with their respective teams. But that timing does offer some potential for value and will depend on how confident you are that a player will go to a specific team. Every player in the NFL, no matter what kind of talent they have, is dependent on the team around them.
Last season’s Offensive Rookie of the Year was Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, the fifth pick in the draft. He was the first wide receiver selected. Maybe Chase would have put up similar numbers with another team, but it probably didn’t hurt that he had Joe Burrow throwing him the ball and he finished his rookie season with 81 catches for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns.

In the past 10 NFL seasons, there have been four quarterbacks, four running backs, and two wide receivers selected as Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Considering how passing-focused the NFL game has become, that might add some relative appeal to running backs Breece Hall and Kenneth Walker III, who may not be drafted as early as top wide receivers, but still could have a significant impact in their rookie seasons.
But, if you’re really feeling adventurous, there is a market for Offensive Rookie of the Year now, before we even know where those rookies will play.Make sure to keep an eye on our Live Odds page throughout the week to get the best lines possible and connect with others in the SBR community on our popular sports betting forum.
