FanDuel Sports Network, operated by Main Street Sports Group, will launch a new digital distribution initiative to bring select live local NBA and NHL games to major streaming platforms starting in mid-November. The move represents the first stage of the network's broader multi-phase Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) strategy to accompany its FanDuel Sportsbook brand.

FAST is aimed at attracting younger, streaming-oriented audiences while supporting both direct-to-consumer and linear television growth. It also establishes new advertising and sponsorship opportunities for brands targeting sports viewers.

The network's rollout will make select live game broadcasts of its partnered NBA and NHL teams available on Pluto TV, Prime Video, and Samsung TV Plus, with additional platforms expected later. These games, which will also air in-market via over-the-air broadcasts, will appear within sports sections and carousels on the respective platforms during live-game windows, providing free, immediate access to local matchups.

Main Street Sports Group Chief Revenue Officer Eric Ratchman explained, “Launching this digital game offering is a big step in expanding our national reach and continuing to prioritize the different ways fans can watch their hometown teams. By bringing games to free streaming platforms that reach hundreds of millions of viewers, we're making local sports more accessible than ever and proving what our ubiquitous access model can deliver.”

Following the entry of other large companies into the media rights market, this launch continues the network's expansion across multiple platforms and enhances local sporting programs. The initial signs are optimistic about the strategy's success in maintaining free viewers as paying customers.

This will result in the launch of the 24/7 FAST channel for the FanDuel Sports Network in 2026. This is expected to become the national hub for its entire lineup of programs, including Golic & Golic and Countdown Live.

FanDuel Sports Network to air St. Louis University basketball games

Building on its multiplatform expansion, FanDuel Sports Network confirmed that it will air at least 10 Saint Louis University (SLU) men's basketball games and one women's basketball game during the 2025–26 season. Learfield's Billikens Sports Properties facilitated the partnership, SLU's athletics multimedia rights holder.

SLU Director of Athletics Chris May said the agreement enhances the program's visibility and community engagement while ensuring high-quality broadcasts for fans. Sarah Tourville, Executive Vice President of Team Partnerships at FanDuel Sports Network, said adding SLU basketball strengthens the network's regional lineup and deepens its connection with St. Louis sports fans.

Play-by-play commentary will be handled by Tom Ackerman, sports director at KMOX 1120 AM, with former Billiken Troy Robertson providing analysis and KMOV-TV's Tamar Sher contributing as reporter.

FanDuel Sports Network is accessible across Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska via providers including DIRECTV, Spectrum, Fubo, Mediacom, U-verse TV, and Xfinity. Games and additional programming will also be available through the FanDuel Sports Network app, website, and as an add-on via Prime Video. All home broadcasts will be simulcast on ESPN+ as part of the Atlantic 10 Conference's media partnership.
