FanDuel has announced a partnership with Amazon to become the official odds provider and an official partner of the NBA and WNBA on Amazon Prime Video.
The partnership will enable FanDuel to provide real-time betting data and insights as part of Prime Video’s NBA and WNBA broadcasts, starting with the upcoming NBA season.
Fans who opt into the new features, including bet tracking and Odds View, will gain access to live betting updates and market data overlaid during games. According to FanDuel, the integration is designed to deliver deeper engagement by connecting on-court action with people’s betting activity.
FanDuel’s President of Sports, Mike Raffensperger, said it was a major milestone in the way that sports content and betting can interact. “By integrating custom content into Prime Video's NBA broadcasts, we will enhance the fan viewing experience and connect with new audiences,” he said.
“It’s important to partner with brands that are invested in enhancing the fan experience. We're helping to transform how brands reach highly engaged consumers," added Danielle Carney, Head of U.S. Video and Live Sports Sales, Amazon Ads. “By prioritizing innovation and storytelling we can create unique opportunities for brands to connect with their audiences that are more meaningful.”
As part of the partnership, NBA on Prime analyst and former NBA player Blake Griffin will serve as a brand ambassador for FanDuel, appearing across multiple media formats to help bring personality-driven content to the sportsbook’s basketball offerings, including FanDuel promo codes.
FanDuel finds Missouri entry point
Elsewhere, FanDuel also confirmed a new partnership with MLS team St. Louis City SC, securing access to the soon-to-launch legal Missouri sports betting market after being passed over for one of the state’s two untethered sportsbook licenses.
“Missouri is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the country, and we are thrilled to partner with St. Louis CITY SC to introduce our industry leading product to the Show Me State,” said Mike Raffensperger, President, Sports at FanDuel. “We look forward to supporting the team and engaging with the community as we bring America’s #1 Sportsbook to fans across Missouri.”
Missouri voters narrowly approved sports betting in a 2024 referendum, with operations set to begin by Dec. 1, 2025. FanDuel was one of three applicants for the untethered licenses but lost out to DraftKings and Circa. As a result, the company sought a tethered path by signing up with one of the state’s six professional sports teams, which is one of the two main routes to securing a standard sports betting license in the new market.
FanDuel already operates in five of Missouri’s eight neighboring states, positioning the company to scale operations quickly once the market officially opens.
