Betting operator FanDuel and broadcaster Main Street Sports Group, which operates the FanDuel Sports Network, have announced the launch of a new bet tracking feature on selected NBA and NHL games that will allow viewers to follow their sportsbook wagers in real time.

The bet-tracking integration will link FanDuel Sportsbook accounts to live broadcasts on the FanDuel Sports Network, updating information as the game unfolds. It is available in states where online sports betting is legal, monitored through our legal sports betting states tracker, through FanDuel Sports Network, and partner sites.

According to the companies, the technology is built on FanDuel Sports Network’s in-house platform. It utilizes FanDuel’s account-linking system to integrate betting activity with live viewing, linking broadcast content even closer through interactive features. It's one of many things that make FanDuel one of the best sports betting sites.

The initial rollout covers NBA broadcasts featuring five teams, the Cleveland Cavaliers, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, and Memphis Grizzlies, and NHL coverage of the Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, St. Louis Blues, and Nashville Predators.

The launch follows a year of collaboration between FanDuel and Main Street Sports Group, which holds a substantial portfolio of local sports media rights.

Both companies have said that the partnership is designed to explore additional interactive elements that connect live sports coverage with digital engagement tools in jurisdictions where sports betting is legal.

FanDuel and DraftKings exit AGA over prediction markets

FanDuel and rival betting operator DraftKings are set to leave the American Gaming Association (AGA) due to differences over the direction of online betting and its stance on prediction market apps.

In separate statements, the two companies said their business strategies don’t align with AGA’s priorities. The news comes as prediction market companies Kalshi and Polymarket continue to expand across the US, remaining regulated by the CFTC rather than by states, unlike traditional sportsbooks.

The AGA, the representative body for casinos, game makers, and sportsbooks, has taken a strong stance against sports-related prediction markets. Reports suggest it is planning to bar companies that offer prediction markets from AGA membership.

FanDuel recently announced plans to launch a prediction platform, FanDuel Predicts in December. The platform will reportedly offer sports-related event contracts, though only in states where traditional sports betting is not legal. Additionally, DraftKings has also entered the prediction market sector with its purchase of Railbird, which holds a federal license to offer event contracts.

Both companies have stated that their decision to leave the AGA was made after consideration of these changes. The AGA confirmed that it had accepted their requests to relinquish their membership and stated that it expects to continue dialogue on other issues related to regulated gaming.

Despite exiting the AGA, FanDuel and DraftKings are still members of the Sports Betting Alliance, which focuses more narrowly on advocacy and policy issues affecting sports betting companies
