NFL training camps are progressing along, and there are a few quarterbacks rooms without a confirmed starter yet. Here’s a look at three quarterback battles around the league along with each player’s odds to lead the NFL in passing yards from DraftKings Sportsbook.

3 NFL Quarterback Position Battles

Carolina Panthers: Baker Mayfield vs. Sam Darnold

After the Panthers acquired Mayfield from the Cleveland Browns in July, he was immediately the favorite to start behind center in Week 1. However, incumbent No. 1 Sam Darnold has also been receiving reps with the first-team offense during camp, and head coach Matt Rhule isn’t naming the starter for a few more weeks.

Rookie quarterback Matt Corral also warrants mention after being selected in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. He could figure into the plans at some point, although it's much less likely after Mayfield was brought in.

Finally, with news Mayfield has been improving over the course of training camp, expect him to be named the Carolina starter. Plus, Carolina hosts Cleveland in Week 1.

Passing yards odds: Mayfield (+6500), Darnold (+15000) and Corral (+25000)

Seattle Seahawks: Drew Lock vs. Geno Smith

Smith was the backup for the Seahawks in 2021, and after starting three games last year, Seattle knows what they have in the eight-year veteran. Lock was a piece of the package the organization got in return from Denver in the Russell Wilson deal, and he’s the presumed favorite to start Week 1 against the New Orleans Saints.

Additionally, buzz from training camp has Lock outperforming Smith. However, during the team’s scrimmage on Saturday, it was Smith playing with the first-team offense. Lock was with the second unit.

Even in a projected run-heavy offense, the Seahawks have two Pro Bowl caliber wide receivers in D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, so the weapons are in place for a solid air attack.

Passing yards odds: Lock (+10000) and Smith (OTB)

Pittsburgh Steelers: Mitchell Trubisky vs. Kenny Pickett vs. Mason Rudolph

The Steelers have given first-team reps to all three of their quarterbacks during training camp, and it’s been generally agreed on by beat writers that Rudolph has been the most polished.

It’s also generally agreed on that it will be Trubisky starting Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals, and that Pickett probably isn’t ready to fully command the offense.

It’s worth noting that Rudolph is in the final season of his rookie deal, and Trubisky is signed through the 2023 season. Additionally, after selecting Pickett in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft to be the future franchise quarterback, it all adds up to Rudolph likely being third on the depth chart and not playing unless Trubisky is injured before the Pittsburgh brass deem Pickett ready.

Passing yards odds: Trubisky (+6000), Pickett (+20000) and Rudolph (+20000)
