Not much thoughts on WTA for me, I'm kind of just keeping the ditzy broads on the back burner except for Majors mostly. Bolded the guys I thought would win. Seen a few people on Matosevic. I dunno, guy seems to have fallen off. He seems to be a good get when he's hot, but a good one to go against when he's not. Muller has been pretty comfortable in the heat in ATL the last two years when he played. I think it's about what it is, a toss up. Like I outlined above, I think Young and/or Bogomolov are potential upset victims. If you go against both, I think you might get a split on those two dogs and make some money.

Sock it to me, Jack! He's up 3-0 in the third set. I hope he can pull this one off ... Would be a nice, small cash after the big hit on Paire today.

edit -- Raining in the ATL with Sock up 4-2 ... Hopefully he can come out after the delay and serve the match out, but this kind of sucks for a young guy.

Sock does it thanks to Bogo sucking on his own serve. So one of the two upsets marked comes true. Wouls love to see DY get his ass beat too.

Jumped all over Muller, watch all of his matches last year.Seems to love these courts and you are right about the heat, does not bother him.Good luck with Fish though. Both players with shit tons of points to defend and kick ass serves.Might be the over play of the week my man.

Great day! Big wins on Paire, and a Sock/Johnson parlay, and smaller amounts on Sock and Johnson to win their matches. If Bertens had beat Barthel that parlay would have paid +1700~. Darn.

Yeah surprised to see Baker lose, but this was also a surface switch so of course anything is possible in that sort of situation. Watch him carefully in his next tournament. As great as his story has been, he could be a prime candidate to fall pretty hard as the season wears on.

For ATL today, look out for the qualifiers. Four in action. Bemelmans against Ram. Berankis against Tursunov. Kuznetsov against Russell. Bubka against Ebden.

I think at least two of them might win today. Bubka and his serve can be trouble. Berankis has some form over the last few weeks and Bemelmans could catch Ram transitioining off grass.

I don't know if I would give Kuznetsov a ton of chances against Russell. 0-9 against him, but if he's ever going to break that streak - this might be the spot with Russell on the surface switch. I think Bubka & Berankis rate the best chances of the four. Bemelmans should also have a great shot, but if Ram doesn't struggle going back to hard courts he can push him. I'm not a big fan of the price on Bemelmans, but it can probably be useful in a parlay if you like it.

I saw that this morning, didn't see it last night when I needed Baker to win my only play yesterday, but I saw that alot of people were pissed off EP. I put my play in early, but I think some people really and truly did trust what they were reading & probably lost some good money. It's not Paco's fault, but making a thread that tricks people into thinking one thing when you secretly are doing another, is not what I thought we were all about here. I would never make a thread like that & possibly lose people hard earned money, just bec I was being silly??? That was really odd to me. Have no clue why he would do that to other people. And I do feel bad for the people who just took Baker bec they read that thread. I liked him WAY before that thread, so Paco had nothing to do with me losing my parlay. But I do feel bad for those who don't know tennis & come in here for some help to make a good play and try to win some money. I feel bad for them.....

I hope all has been doing well EP. I always hope you do well in the wagering. GL for the rest of the day!!

actually yoo-zoo-ny has 3-0 against monica, one of the wins came this year at masters 1000 event at the italian open in 3 sets

yoo-zoo-ny's first match since his embarrassing loss to rogi at wimbledon and monica seems to be playing well barring his usual mental lapses at key moments

James Blake beat Ryan Harrison. Heh. Should open up the bottom half even more for Fish if he can start quick and beat Muller today.

I wouldnt ever mention Blake & Young in the same sentence. Young doesn't have half the brain or desire Blake has. Blake was a solid talent in his prime before injuries derailed him. Young would be lucky as fukk to have 10% of the career success Blake has had.

He seems to always fall short, but he has the game for this surface if he serves well I think he pushes Nishikori pretty hard today. Also interested to see if Roddick has anything in the tank this week. Anderson + Soeda parlay seems fairly handy today.

I think Fish has to be careful against Muller, that may be his toughest match of the tournament until the semis - but this is also a guy he absolutely destroyed in Australia to open the year. I think this one is more of a match than that, especially given Fish being in his 1st match on hard courts whereas Muller has the match play advantage. Isner should be able to get past Bemelmans, but it could be tight if the Belgian serves well. Interested to see if Blake can follow up his win over Harrison. I don't think he was exceptionally sharp against Harrison, but he took advantage of Harrison probably being ready to think about the Olympics ... Ebden destroyed Bubka in the 2nd and 3rd after losing a close 1st set. He's getting better and better on this surface. Think I would look at:

                                                                        Johnson-Sock Over 22.5 [-125]
