Fish hasn't been the same since his hamstring injury troubles, I think you are a chance here for the under to hit - could also be done by a retirement, I just got done by that in the Kohlscreiber/Riba match - grrrr

Day 5 Australian Open

1* Lacko +9.5 vs Nadal LOSS

The last time these two players met, Lacko took a set off Nadal. Not only did he take a set off the spainiard but he took it 6-0! But bare in mind that was a fatigued banged up Nadal that was even considering pulling out. Don't think that will happen this time round but I really think Lacko does have the game to at least test Nadal here if he's consistent enough. The scoreline in Nadal's last match against Haas may look as though it was a comfortable victory but in actual fact, Haas was actually dominating and outplaying Nadal in a lot of the points from the point Nadal lead 4-0 in the first set to the end of the match. Haas just couldn't come up with the goods come crunch time and that was where Nadal took advantage. I still think Nadal will win this in straight sets but I think Lacko can make a match out of it and win 9 or more games.

The ML is at 14 (TI shows it at 17) because Karlovic will prob not break Federer's serve, so the only way he could win a set is in tiebrak - and I'm not seing Karlovic winning 3 tiebreaks in a row or going 4-5 sets against Federer.

The handicap is only at +6 because Karlovic is a very good server, but, in my opinion, Federer will win this in 3 sets and might even cover the -6 games handicap ...

PS: so far these two have played 10 matches (9-1 for Federer), 28 sets (24-4 for Federer), 13 tiebreaks !!!!! (11-2 for Federer)

Tomic's had a great run this tournament but I think a tough 5-setter, a 2-0 sets down-come-from-behind win and a tight 4 setter catches up with him and Federer cleans him up in straights. I expect it to be similar to how Murray dealt with Tomic. Tomic's gonna be a star no doubt but at the moment he is still a level below Fed. Don't read too much into that davis cup match where Tomic took a set off Fed. Fed was not playing at 100% treated it more like an exhibition more than anything.

Expect Djokovic to ease past Hewitt similar to how Federer eased past Tomic. There is really nothing in Hewitt's game that can or will trouble the number one player here. Sure the past h2h encounters between these two players have been close with their most recent meeting resulting in a tough 4 set win for the Novak 7-5 6-4 3-6 6-4 but that was in 2010 and on grass. Djokovic is just a BEAST right now and I see a 6-2 6-3 6 - 1 type scoreline. To be frank, Hewitt is lucky to even be in the tournament this long. His first match was against a challenger circuit qualifier who melted down towards the end. His second match was against a banged up Roddick. And his third match was a little more impressive against Raonic but let's be honest, Raonic was off his game and pretty much gift-wrapped that match to Hewitt with his countless unforced errors. Don't expect any freebies from Djokovic.
