She might pull this one out yet. I know for sure, don't back here in Australia. Usually the summer hard court series she is pretty solid.

#2629You were right on Ebden taking out Fish. Fish is pissed because he basically got broken in the 2nd set for yelling "come on" before Ebden hit a shot and so Ebden won the point instead of Fish, giving Ebden advantage instead of Fish.Comment -

#2632Indian Wells, Tuesday March 13th
Bellucci +185
Flake on flake w/Davydenko & Bellucci. As I said yesterday, the slower conditions here do help Bellucci who can play some decent tennis on slower hard courts like this. Davydenko is still always an iffy proposition at higher chalk and his form of late is so-so at best. He's rolled through two rounds here without having to play high quality. He may not have to do that today either, but he's also not made it past this point @ Indian Wells since 2007. If Bellucci can manage to serve well, he rates a shot.
Baghdatis -135
Baghdatis v. Dolgpolov. Typical Dolgopolov match for his first up with Darcis. Epic tie break in the opener to Darcis, then Dolgpolov rights the ship 6-3 before a tough 7-5 end to the 3rd set. Baghdatis has been solid and simple in two straight sets wins in Indian Wells. Very efficient. Obviously consistency is key and that isn't necessarily a great word to associate with either of these two. I think Baghdatis has the better form recently and if he can continue to serve solidly, I think he grinds one out here.Comment -

Stepanek +348
Tsonga's effort during this swing is always a little questionable. Stepanek has never done a damn thing here, in fact he won only his second match all-time here when he beat Malisse. Still, the slower surface could allow him to work that serve & volley and challenge Tsonga to want to play a longer match. Maybe he smokes him, but I'll take my stupid/dumb shit/dartboard shot here likely.Comment -

Dallas Challenger: Sela -150
Good form and I don't trust Sweeting for shit. He's just not there as far as consistency. Sela almost always competes well on this surface against similarly ranked players and often against higher ranked guys - see Simon this past week in Indian Wells.Comment -

#2648This message is for EP. I have been following your thread for a few months now. I greatly appreciate all the help you give people on this thread. I am somewhat like you. I follow WAY too much tennis, at every level. I have been teaching in North Houston for 12 years and I play the Texas USTA Section, Open level singles (don't know if you live in big D, but I play 2 tments here a year). I live, eat and sleep tennisI just opened an account, finally, and might start my own thread soon. Until then, I hope you don't mind if I continue to follow you and just add my insight and comments.
Also, I am in Dallas right now. My girlfriend, pictured with me, is trying out for that American Ninja Warrior couse. She runs it on Thursday. Looks freaking crazy!! I also might go to Los Colinas to watch some matches. IF I DO, I will let you know when we will go over. Maybe we connect and hang out for a match or so. ALSO, don't forget the River Oaks tment in Houston. I go every year and it is such a blast!!! Watching Dr Ivo kick a ball over D Youngs head in the finals of qualies last year was HILARIOUS!!! I look forward to being a regular on here and any advice or insight or comments I will greatly appreciate. I am not always on the rights side of a play, but I know A LOT about almost every player and it NEVER hurts to have another loyal follower on your side helping the best he can
PS. My girl is a model & I will ask her if I can post a better picture for everyone to enjoyComment -

#2649I was skeptical to take Sela here in US, but I have seen Sweeting play live 3 or 4 times. It looked like Sela just wanted to catch his flight home. Down a set and break?? Can't believe he won second set! Then down break in third set?? What a come back by Sela and ANOTHER choke by Sweeting. I can honestly say, I would NEVER put money on Ryan bec I have personally seen him completely break down against average players. GOOD call on Sela EP!!! Now, lets go Cilic and cash this ticket!!!!!!Comment -

#2652Sweet. Beck's is my Dad's favorite burger joint. Almagro has a real shot to win this sucker against Berdych. Took the opening set and he's had a lot of break opps already ... needs to convert better and not let Berdych off the hook. He had double break point to open the 2nd set and let them slip away. He had triple break point on one of Berdych's service games in the 1st set and let it slip away. Berdy obviously not at his best today ...Comment -

#2658Del Potro beats him IMO. Ferrer apparently had the virus going around, so I'm not going to read too much into Istomin beating him badly yesterday. Istomin runs as hot and cold as anyone, but I haven't seen him do dick against a top notch player to suggest he'll win today. Not sure the handicap even yields more than a push in most cases in this match-up. Could be wrong, but I think Delpo wins comfortably.Comment -

#2659I can't believe someone hasn't stepped up and beat Tsonga's ass yet. Nalbandian has blown a ton of chances, but given it's deep in a tournament - Fat Dave in effect. Good day though hitting Almagro + the parlay. I'll take it.Comment -
