Head-2-head I'd imagine has a lot of people on Del Potro + Tsonga struggled against Baghdatis. Outclassed Rosol, but that doesn't take much. Del Potro just looks locked in. It will be a tight match.

I think the whole world of tipsters is on Istomin and Istomin as a dog looks too good be true right? That often doesn't work out. Should be great motivation for Roddick after Istomin whipped him when he was really hurting in San Jose. Roddick seemed to flip the switch in the last two sets vs. Petzschner yesterday. Interesting match for Roddick's confidence.

I don't know. I have a tough time thinking Ferrer won't outwork Verdasco and Ferrer's route to this point this week has been easy, so fatigue doesn't look like a factor. I think Verdasco caught a good draw here with Chela being pretty woeful this year and Almagro looking pretty tired from playing all these tournaments.

I agree about Verdasco and Ferrer, I had the the o.22.5 total on the match but the verdasco side was the best play. I just have some horrible numbers wagering on Verdasco and I just don't trust my money on him. I am surprised Almagro was able to hang in there and take it to a tiebreak though, the guy has been playing a ton of tennis.

So glad I stayed away fro Istomin. I saw the line and thought "great, underdog too!" then read your post about everyone being on it and felt the same about too good to be true. So thanks for that comment.

today i took Del Potro,Roddick,and Tomic Straight up,small amounts was one of the Istom believers, won with him in san jose and thought he is putting together a good run but the ageless roddick returns. Maybe Potro will have something for me and does anyonethink Tomic and get the job done.

Ferrer is probably my favorite player ont the tour and gulbis the one I hold in the most contempt. Gulbis is really like the anti-ferrer, once he is down, Gulbis folds like a lawn chair. That was an incredible performance out there by Gulbis, he wins the first set and loses the next two sets ,6-1,6-1. LOL.

Yep. I had Matosevic as a potential to-do today, but his game isn't that great - still I saw lots of people talking about using Gulbis in parlays today who probably got burned. Pretty typical performance from him. He sucks you in with a couple wins and then blows up.

Surprised Verdasco is only +210 against Ferrer. Have to say the head case has been very solid this week. Would like at least +250, but I think if he's going to beat Ferrer this is as good a week as any. Two long weeks for Ferrer, but the guy is a fit mother fukker. Should be another great final ... been a good week for tennis finals w/ Murray-Fed and this one. Delray Beach can suck a big one. Matosevic or Sela gets into a tour final.

Hi EP, what are you doing with your Anderson future? I got it at +2000 but haven't hedge it yet. I think if the wins against Isner, he will win the tournament but this semi-final will be hard. So hedge a bit?

I would hedge to get back your original investment. Anderson has not been overly impressive the last two rounds and really could have/maybe should have lost to Roddick.

Price at the book I use is about 40 cents off the rest of the market, so taking the stab. Marcel Felder the opposition here and he has shown an inability to beat any sort of clay talent consistently. Veic was bad in his first-up last week in Brazil after a month off, but that probably can be forgiven due to rust. Talent alone is Veic on this surface.
