#2293Thursday, February 23rd
WTA Dubai: Lisicki +175
Lisicki draws Radwanksa here and maybe Ag-Rad continues her cockroach act and survives another round, but she's been on the ropes twice and would be out against someone with a killer instinct and/or weapon to put her away. Wozniak and Peer did not have that. Lisicki does. The German flashed a better serve against Benesova yesterday, only offering up two break opps and saving both. She'd do well to repeat that today to put the pressure squarely on Radwanksa who has been broken four times in each round so far. If Lisicki brings the consistency with her serve, she should be right in this one to the end.
ATP Marseille: Llodra -120
Will be a tricky match with Dolgopolov, but the surface edge here is still in favor of Llodra. Llodra got a good tight test from Chiudinelli to open with two solid tie breaks to win. Dolgopolov turned his opener around after a faulty 1st set as he snapped his serve into better shape. A pretty typical roller coaster performance from Dolgopolov. I go to his track record on this surface and still don't see anything to indicate he will beat someone with a power serve like Llodra. That's the obvious key here. If Llodra serves well, he's difficult to beat on this surface.
Considering others, but these cover the early morning with more adds later.Comment -

#2294Yeah beef I was shocked at a lot of the lineup here, it is a Challenger event after all. I think the event is sandwiched between Indian Wells and Miami. Probably going one of the first two days, saves me $10 a ticket and I get to see some of the schleps before they lose.Comment -

#2296I do not enjoy betting the women's tournaments where you've got a lot of the 2nd tier players. Indoor hard courts especially seem to have no rhyme or reason with these chicks. Girls with the type of game you think would stink, do well and vice versa. That's why I'm not even bothering with Memphis on the ladies side ... or Monterrey for that matter simply because of the lack of talent down there.Comment -

#2300ATP Buenos Aires
Simon -125
Simon draws Berlocq today. While I am a big fan of Berlocq on clay, he has yet to come through with one of those "signature" wins against top notch competition on the surface. He has been able to run roughshod over most of the Challenger level competition on the surface with few problems, but when faced with the likes of Monaco and Almagro, etc. - he's struggled for consistency. Simon beat him last Spring at Estoril on this surface in easy fashion. Berlocq did not really start rolling until later in the year, but Simon's vanilla game plan appeared to give him issues. Simon is still an odd duck to be playing these early dirt tourneys, but he's also not a poor player on the surface overall when the match-up is right.
Parlay: Monaco + Isner [-113]
Monaco matches up against Nalbandian and the form points to Monaco. He's already won a clay tournament this season and is unbeaten in six matches on dirt this year. Nalbandian looked good for a couple rounds in Sao Paulo last week, but then faltered against Volandri. He had no issues in his opener, but I'm still not sure he's quite ready to produce weekly in back-2-back spots. It should be a good match, but Monaco looks the better player right now on the surface. Isner against Donald Young on an indoor hard court. I don't see Young matching Isner's power and Young is a poor tie break player if it comes down to the usual M.O. for "The Big Tie Break" John Isner.Comment -

#2307Thinking VIP gives trouble to pushniaki today, yes I know she's always had big mental problems and her BP conversion is usually at 10%, but woz is a great match up for her, she's a complete head case though so will most likely just play the +3.5, she's on my black list as I'm sure she is with most others but I'll let her off for this one. Plus, even if she gets rolled, eye candy on one side of the court.Comment -

#2310i have yet to understand why bettors keep flocking to bet on dolgopolov's matches. he's a known flake, why not just leave his matches alone? there are usually tons of better matches to wager on. i think the last time i bet on a match he was involved in was the aussie open of 2011 when he made his QF run.Comment
