    WTA MIAMI

    RADWANSKA-ZVONAREVA OVER 21 [-130]
I think Ag-Rad has a legit shot to win this one, but I'm less confident in that than I am in her being able to extend Vera and get this over done. Radwanska has quietly been in a solid run of form this week with some crushing wins over solid players like Schiavone & Kirilenko. She also took Azarenka to three sets in Indian Wells last week. Vera has dropped sets in two of her three matches in Miami. She's shown a little more inconsistency since the Australian Open, winning in Doha, but exiting early in Pattaya & Indian Wells.

Going with talent in this one vs. a little better form for Ungur. Pospisil broke a three match losing skid with his 1st round win here in Barletta. Ungur made the semis of a Challenger last week and has won four of his last five. Pospisil certainly is a talented clay court type as he made the semis and finals of two tournaments this season already. He had a very solid year on dirt in 2010 and is 8-3 on the surface in 2011. Ungur is 7-4, but has picked up almost half his wins in qualifiers.

Nice call here EP. I tailed that sh1t like a kid chasing down an ice-cream van

Not a bad player this kid Pospisil. Very ugly but very effective serve action

F-ing Radwanska can't even hold her serve just three times in the 2nd set to get at least a push on the total. Gonna fall a game short at 7-5, 6-2 unless Vera feels like donating here. Bitch.

Good luck. Think the Azarenka-Clijsters total has a shot. Not sure about Petkovic - almost seems a little too easy to take her in this spot. If they played today, no doubt I'd take her - but Sharapova gets a day to rest from the Dulgheru match ...

Eh, I just don't see why he would want to toil away on the Challenger circuit losing big almost every match. But to each his own. I'd rather see Sampras school some of these kids at 40 because I think he could win better than 50% still.

I watched the match. Sharapova twisted her left ankle while serving landing on her left foot at the end of the match, but still managed to win. Not too sure how much that will affect her next match...

"Sharapova commented on the ankle in her post-match presser. "It hurt when I did it. I've iced it a lot, did an ice bath and got it taped. I'll be okay. I'm tough."

Ankle problems are not about toughness. It brings a lot of instability and problems when trying sharp turns. I don't think toughness can fix that imo

True. These are external information we could get. At the end of the day, we have to analyze and decide what to believe, what not to believe.

                                DUTRA DA SILVA [-105]
These two have faced off six times with Dutra Da Silva holding a 4-2 advantage, including 3-1 on clay. He's made the QF or better in his last two Challengers. Dabul is playing just his fourth match on clay this season today with a 2-1 mark thus far. His record on the surface has been under .500 over the last two seasons. This figures to be a tight match, so the better price for a player who has had past success against the other bodes well I think.

                                  FEDERER-SIMON ENDS IN 3 SETS [+200]
Seems ridiculous to not take a stab at this one given the trouble that Simon's game gives Federer. Simon forces Federer to be patient and to be at his best with his shot making. What is weird is that Federer has shown an ability to absolutely tear Simon apart in sets, but then he seems to either relax or lose focus and Simon is given chances to get back into the match. That pretty much is Simon's game to a T. Not pretty, but he just keeps pumping the ball back in play over and over to frustrate opponents into making errors. Not sure that Simon is playing close to the level he was at when they met in Melbourne this year, but we'll see if he's in Fed's head or not.

                                      ZVONAREVA-AZARENKA OVER 21 [-130]
This should be a good battle. Vera leads the head-2-head 6-2, but in their four meetings the past two years they have been pretty competitive for the most part. Only one featured a quick demolition and that was by Azarenka in 2010 in Dubai. Both have been up & down as expected in the WTA from set to set. Vera has dropped sets in two of her four matches in Miami and has played sets of 12 & 13 games in the other two. Azarenka had dropped a set in each of her first three matches before rolling Clijsters in straights last night. Both have good records in Miami, so I'm expecting a tight match with both looking fit this week.

Pospisil against home standing Italian Volandri. Pretty even match-up here & Volandri falls into a good fade pattern to me. He won less points than his last opponent Luczak, yet he still won the match. Figured to be a good battle, will again take the better price on even talent.

                                                    VASSALO ARGUELLO -135
The Argentine draws Cipolla here and this is a good fade spot on the Italian. Cipolla was on-court for over four hours yesterday to win a three set grinder. The weather in Colombia is warm & humid, so I expect his energy was drained some yesterday and it could make a big difference today. Varsallo Arguello has had a much easier time of it this week and has looked solid in working through qualis to this point. He's also on a good roll in general on dirt as he made the final at his last Challenger event.

Dude is dominating. It's like Rafa during clay season or Fed in his prime. Amazing stuff right now, no one can touch him.
