Step is going to have come to the net a shit load to win this match. Something Raonic is uncomfortable doing. Power vs finesse..Toss up

#1122I just love Raonic's nerve right now. I think I read he's 14-3 in tie breaks in ATP level matches. That'll likely come into play today.
Fukkin Querrey. Gave back his break lead in the 2nd. Couldn't just close it out and nice and easy ya fukkstick.
Hradecka is a chick on a roll right now. Been too afraid to bet her because she's never been that reliable, but girl is beating up on lesser comp.

#1124He should still take this set, but it could have been real easy. Now he's probably going to have to do it in a tie break.
Damn Cuevas is getting slammed right now - up to -180. Think that's up 30-40 cents in the past hour or so. I was thinking about Acasuso. Dirty match on tap?Comment -

#1125Just thinking out loud on the ATP matches left today, so I can re-read my stupidity later when needed. Might make one more play, but looking:
*Little surprised Youzhny hasn't gotten out to be a bigger favorite. Guess Simon is being given a better shot because of home cooking, but he's traditionally not that strong in Marseilles. I don't put much weight in his win over Donkey-denko. Youzhny played well in Rotterdam and is 6-0 vs. Simon on a vairety of surfacs including this one, like the Russian right now at least.
*Cuevas is getting pounded on the ML right now. Not sure what to read about that. Acasuso's win over Dolgopolov was taken with a grain of salt, but this is a home tournament he excels at recently. Actually liked Acasuso, but the price causes concern now.
*Russell as a -160 favorite is scary. Serra isn't much, but Serra is tricky enough.
*Mannarino is stuck in my head against Hewitt. Don't know if he can win, but I have a feeling he will take a set - making the Over perhaps the better play.Comment -

#1134ATP MARSEILLES: YOUZHNY -130
Should be quite the match with Simon in France today. Simon has a match in-hand as he beat Davydenko in straights to open yesterday. Not particularly impressive as Davydenko continued his poor play and Simon has owned him during their careers. Simon was broken three times, but showed good nerve to win a tie break to open. Youzhny has shown some good form this year, but not great. However on this indoor surface, he played well in Rotterdam and lost a tight two setter to eventual champion, Soderling. The Russian owns a 6-0 head-2-head advantage which is hard to overlook. Both have shown very well on this surface in the past year, but Simon has lost four of his past six on indoor hard courts. I THINK there are certain players Simon matches up well with, but Youzhny does not appear to be the best fit. Both players strive on consistency in their ground strokes and that's likely who gets through today, the one with the least errors.

#1136I want to put a bullet in Stepanek's head. He's hitting all these lucky bullshit shots. I knew he was gonna get that tiebreaker and I really think he's gonna get a break early in the 3rd and win the match. The big serving dick Raonic couldn't serve for the match in the tiebreaker. DisgustingComment -

#1137Youzhny is the betting play for sure. Simon lost to a total scrub last week and had his struggles with the struggling Davydenko yesterday. Add in the 6-0 H2H, I'm surprised the odds are so close.
However, I like Simon to win today. Don't know why. Feels like Youhzny is so obvious, Simon will actually win this one. I'm definitely not betting it though. People that bet on Simon gotta be crazy. 0-6 H2H and he's looked like crap.Comment -

#1140Raonic dominates the 3rd set tie break and takes a hard fought win home. Another good test for him today, another good showing. If it was anyone besides Kendick next, I might fade Raonic ... but I don't see what Kendrick has to hurt Raonic.
Don't know what happened with Youzhny. He broke Simon early and then lost four straight games?!?!Comment -

#1151ATP MEMPHIS: MANNARINO-HEWITT OVER 22 [-120]
Mannarino has some pretty nice form to start off 2011 on harder surfaces. His indoor record indicates he has a game suited to the surface, but lacks playing regular ATP level events. Hewitt has a strong record on indoor courts, but has not played that many matches on the surface over the past few years. His results in 2011 indicate that at his best, he is still tough to beat, but on average days ... opponents with skills can stick with him. Hewitt looked very solid against Lu, with just one break opp and he converted two of five. Mannarino needs to serve well here, but Hewitt has not always been solid on serve in his own right. I THINK if Mannarino can stick with Hewitt early and not let him run out to a lead in the 1st set, then he's got a chance to make this interesting and potentially get this OVER done.

#1153Meh. I dunno. Kanepi was winning with smoke and mirrors this week, I had been betting against her all week but missed out on the right opportunity. I don't think Jankovic was particularly good against Kanepi. If Stosur can find her 1st serve more, she'll beat Jankovic I think. Not touching this one personally though.Comment -
