sharapova hasnt been impressive at all in the first 2 rounds. went 3 sets in the 1st round and her 2nd round opponent was absolutely garbage. couldnt hit a winner for her life, she was a rally partner and sharapova struggles in the games, but not the actual score.
pennetta has beaten her in the past, be it 2 years ago. but all there matches have went 3 sets. i like the handicap

Underdogs won 16 games out of the last 14 sets on Arthur Ashe in the last 6 matches... I think the Roddick-Sock match makes sense. #1, let's not kid ourselves ... TV rules whatever winds up being the top billing. In this case, they can beat to DEATH the Wunderkind aspect of the "next big thing in US tennis" against the last big thing in US tennis. I don't mind it, I just hope it's going to be a good show ...
