GGL has been carrying this arm issue for months from what I have read. DGT seems comfortable on these courts taking into account last year and his 1st round this year. I think the price shows the concern over GGL's situation, otherwise he'd likely be a larger favorite.

Understand the notes on Baggy, but he caught Isner on one of those non-power serve days as well and still couldn't win. Difficult for me to see him being able to take three sets off Isner. Baghdatis also continues to have problems getting his 1st serve in consistently which should help Isner potentially with returns.

Not watching, not sure but shithouse is the word that comes to mind. I will say this though ... remarked before the Open that Almagro has a habit of playing 5 setters in the 1st round or long matches with lots of momentum swings ... hope this is one, but not feeling good about it obviously.

Don't think there is anything wrong with Almagro in reading some comments about the match from another site. Just playing like a dikk. There's some hope, he is getting into Benneteau's service games more now - needs to start converting break opps. I don't like anything with that Sweeting match. Sweeting to me just doesn't have a great game. As I said earlier, would not trust Istomin at this price either. Good one to pass IMO. Push comes to shove, I'd say Istomin wins - but will not be surprised if he loses either.

I really liked Benneteau (as noted in my thread) after his run at Winston-Salem where he won 8 matches in 7 days and took Isner to 3 sets in the final. He's been playing extremely well on hard courts and gave Almagro tons of trouble. Like the Lisicki pick!!

I took it the opposite, figured he would have some fatigue even though he did have a couple days rest and his track record is shit outside of that event for the most part on hard courts. Of course you did get to see him in person to get a better sense. Almagro usually is an excellent Slam wager for a couple rounds ... failed miserably today though. Nice pick on JB.
