Oh little Moo Moo-udin, time to reconsider your career options girlie. You are so lost. Had the 2nd set handed to you and still blew it. Ah well, guilty displeasure. 4-2 today. Decent start, now the key is getting another winning day. F-ing Troicki ... did not have him in-play, but picked him farther in the contest and I always think he is going to choke in Slams and never get it right with him.

As a whole, his loss was most surprising just because he was up 2-1 and really should not have lost the one set at that point. Bellucci choking ... guy is basketcase. Kvitova losing early ... mild surprise only because of the opponent. She had been shit during the hard court swing.

What's with the silly odds on Maurer qagainst the pole vaulter? Is Bubka that much better on hard courts?

Maurer has very limited hard court experience, he's definitely a clay court guy + he retired last week in Winston-Salem with some sort of dizzyness. Bubka has a big serve and can hold easy if he's consistent. Although he has little Slam experience, he plays a lot on hard courts and has quali experience from last week. Many will take the Austrian based on him pushing Soderling last year here ... Soderling has awful in that match. That being said with Bubka's lack of experience in best of fives ... this seems a good match to pass on all around. I'd take Bubka gun to my head, but won't be surprised if the moment is too much for him.

Thanks. That's why I think it really pays to follow qualifying. I did not know much about that guy until the qualis at the US Open. At Slams if you keep track of what happens, you can usually find a couple 1st round plays that have good shots to cash.

Great picks for dogs, and I love the Cîrstea pick. I really want her to be the player we saw at the '09 French. Decent all-arounder. I'd say as far as dogs go, that's a 'safe' 3 or 4 win, hopefully all five, bud!

I think the Schiavone price is about right. Her opponent had the dream run at the Rogers Cup, KO-ing some big names so she wasn't going to get much bigger of a price. Schivaone not at her best since the French, but has the Slam experience over her opponent. Think lots will take a swing at the dog here.

Waited to book and getting bigger prices now on Cirstea +215 and Rezai +150. We'll see what the line movement yields ....

I'm a little weary today because I liked so many dogs and those days from my experience at least seem to disappoint. Let's hope that's not the case.

I think Muller wins, but his fitness always worries me. He's not built for long matches and if his serve fails him - he's toast against most guys. ERV isn't a total schlep, so if Muller struggles on serve .. he could get upset. I'd only use Muller in a parlay if at all.

Thanks for the reply. I am a Dodig fan and have won some good coin on him all year, so that may be clouding my judgement, but I think Denko is just horrible right now and is that phase where he needs to just hang it up. Plus this is a nice spot for him to throw a match.

Yes I've been a fan of Mullers serving, he brought Isner to a tie break and beat Anderson so he can take it to those sort of guys, I always see Vasselin as a mug

What's the weather like in New York, if it gets too hot Dodig will wilt in the heat as he did against an injured Monfils last tourny. He looked like he had walked through the Sahara desert @ cincy i think it was due to the heat.
