Don't think I understand why they don't move Roddick & Ferrer to a side court? Makes no sense. They're probably going to have to move some of these off Armstrong eventually you'd think if they want their schedule kept.

Really surprised at the lack of closer sets between Ferrer and Roddick. Total crapped out on that one. Ferrer just not good enough right now to hang.

Adding tonight ....
Federer-Tsonga Over 39 [+100]
Cannot see a clear cut winner here as Federer has not been challenged to this point, so his form is still a little suspect. Tsonga made a great rally against Fish, but was close to being knocked out in the one as well. Hopefully this one lives up to the hype with Tsonga rested now after his Labor Day marathon with Fish. If it does, this should have a chance.

Poor match. The big time match-ups once again fail and produce an under. I think Tsonga could have played better in a wheel chair. We'll see if Djokovic v. Federer yields a good match or not. Hopefully so. Really only been maybe two-three high quality matches all tournament.

Well my thinking is that if the 1st one hits, I can hedge Nadal 3-0 @ +135 and guarantee some money, but I really think Roddick takes one set. Ferrer was a perfect prep match for today. Now the questions is if Roddick can use the same game plan two matches straight and execute it enough to win?

Trust your instincts. Thats what you havent been doing so far this tourney. You know Roddick is going to take the first set so pull the trigger. Its like +220 right now, hats good value my friend and just because its Roddick (the biggest tool in the game) hes STILL IN A GOOD SPOT RIGHT HERE and he wont lose in straights to Nadal, who is not playing consistent tennis at all right now. Also, another thing to consider is that Nadal knows how hard Federer and Djokovic are treeing right now and if you know anything about tennis then you know that Rafa cant beat either of those two at this open this year. Fed would prob take out Rafa in straights which pains me to say because I like Nadal so much better but thats how good Roger is playing and in the back of his mind Nadal knows he cant beat Roger at this tournament. Also, this is Roddick's best surface and Rafa's worst. Can Rafa pound Roddick in straights? I guess, but I would be really surprised if Andy doesn't win at least 1 set in this match.

I don't think that one has a clear edge Beef. Kirilenko-Petrova have been dominating and topped the #1 seeds with relative ease. Skipping that one. Huber-Raymond win in straights. Boo & ya.
Need Murray to get back on track and finish this match now.

Alright Murray gets it done to keep the parlay going. Also cashes the future on Murray to win his quarter. Let's see if Nadal can do the same.

Saturday's US Open Plays Parlay: Stosur + Serena + Djokovic + Murray [+590]
I'm playing this parlay because those are the two finals I picked pre-tournament in the SBR contest and I just want to see if I know anything or not. Not one I highly recommended, but I'm taking it just for kicks.
As far as the reality of Saturday, I'm riding with the belief that one of the men's dogs will win. Federer? Murray? I couldn't tell you, but my strategy is to play Federer in the 1st match. If he wins, I'm out for the day. If he loses, I go one unit on Murray. If they both lose, they lose ... but something tells me they won't.

Totally agree with you EP, already on it. Fed looks locked in and you can tell how much he wants this US Open win. He also knows that he can beat Joker and I think his semi final will be tougher than the final. Rafa is not playing that well, definitely not dominating like he can, and Andy Murray may never win a grand slam. If Fed gets by Joker he will win the open.
