I know it doesn't help now but can you round robin at Centrebet? I do that once in awhile if I feel I have a pretty strong parlay but am freaked about one player letting me down. At least that way you get paid on each combination and if you only miss one it still works out ok.

total is at 20.5 right now - exactly the same as it was yesterday (vs Wawrinka, 7-6, 6-3)

for many players - even top players - the first match of the tournament is when they are vulnerable... and so betting 'overs' and against a straight sets favorite wins is often a good idea

but now that Rafael has shown he is here to play... the only reason this RD2 total isn't at 19 or 20 is the bookmaker's belief that bettors will look into nadal-wawrinka match a little too much. Who did Anderson beat this tournament? Smyczek in qualification, then Mayer in straights and Querrey 2-1. But who didn't take a set from Querrey this hard court season?

I'm thinking he could be in for a long (read: short) fuggin ride against Nadal tonight.

Well, it's hard for me to say because I've only seen Nadal play the 2nd set today and haven't seen Fed play at all yet whereas I've watched Nalbandian the whole way through. I will say that he's probably in a better position than Nadal and Fed right now only because he's done the time on the hard court. His fitness was a concern in the last round but he's proven us wrong again and he's playing as if his life depended on it. He came back from a major injury and has been killing it on the court so I guess we need to respect that for what it is. Yes, too much consideration was given to Soderling when in hindsight he really only tries to overpower players and if he's up against a player like Nalbandian who adjusts and can return the ball back to him with power than he's somewhat lost.

I wouldn't be surprised if he won the whole thing but on the other hand we also don't know how much his body can take at the moment. I think that's why everyone's a bit hesitant to go too large on him.

I'm honestly not the best at totals but mine's sitting at 20 here and I'd probably go with the under if I had to take one. From what I saw in the 2nd set yesterday Rafa kicked it into gear when he needed to and it reminds me of what he always does - starts off slowly, brushes off a few kinks and then comes out and slams his opponent. I like Anderson and he's been a good money-maker for me so I've been eying the handicap but I personally don't think he'll be able to keep up. You're right - the first set may be a 7-5 or 6-4 type scenario while Rafa warms up but I feel the 2nd will be the same old story - Rafa domination.

Again though - I suck at totals.

I'm the first one to say to stay away from the Canuck Woz except for very limited circumstances. I almost cried when I saw Wil put a big bet on her a few weeks ago.

This Woz's drubbing wasn't too surprising in hindsight. Just came off a big win at home, jetlag and heat. Plus she's most likely aiming to peak at the US Open so who knows how much she was willing to put into this week. She nailed me too but that's what I get - I either faded or avoided her for the majority of last week and missed out. This week I jump on her for the first time and she crashes. Yet another stupid cow.

What??? How can they not count it as a game? I'd double check with them. I was looking at their rules yesterday for someone else and didn't see anything like that posted. Considering they only have 3 tennis rules listed, if they ever try to use that against you I'd fight it big time.
