What actually happened was that Kawa was going to win the game in the 2nd set. Then a death threat appeared on her cellphone.
My reliable sources just told me Sevastova apologized to her secretly, shortly after the match, and even offered to share the prize money with her.
I'll give you more info if I get more updates from my reliable sources.
