Yeah i usually go small, enough to cover my wager. Sometimes i go crazy haha. You could literally see it in that colombia match.... i wouldnt want to be american staying in colombia too many days anyways... its unsafe

I remember in 2008 when Marat Safin was drawn to play Novak Djokovic in the 2R of Wimbledon and Novak was still relatively raw and could crack if you get in early and break him down.

Anyway they were saying because of his respect for Novak (good friends, same agent at the time and all) he had already booked his flight back home to Moscow before playing him. And well...we all know what happened after that. I think having the power game really helped him win matches like that.

It was a fair point from Safin's point of view...Novak had reached the final of Queens where he lost to Nadal in a close one who ended up winning Wimbledon that year. And he was good going into Wimbledon pushing Nadal at the French further then anyone did that year.
But Novak also from memory did drop a set to Michael Berrer in the first round so I think it was just a case of the veteran getting one over the rookie too.

That is one situation that I remember clearly in relation to your point.

I’ll take a shot at Kohlscriber 1st set here. Ive noticed lately against higher opponents that andujar is a bit slower to start in General. Kohlscriber was runner up here in 2017 so i wont suggest lack of effort being an issue.Maybe at his age (35) this tourney may not be on his radar after this year.... alot of question marks. When both are at their best its fair to say Kohlscriber is a bit better. Andujar has been in good form but hes dropped a few sets and should have lost to players slightly worse than Kohly( Paire,Delbonis) i guess it shows heart on Andujars part.

Paire vs Herbert... two Frenchmen, Paires last 6 matches 4 of them have seen 3 setters. Paire has lapses in his game so vs quality opponents like Herbert that usually suggests an extra set.


Munar vs Zverev. Its tough to guage what Zverev will do here... this is a bit of a lower teir tourney for guys like him. He may mess around a bit and try to find his game. Zverev struggles a bit at times vs guys who can move and make him finish the point. Past events would suggest Zverev is using this a pit stop on his schedule. Munar at +300 is probably about +200 below where i thought it should be. Wouldnt be suprised to see anything happen here

Kohl up 5-3 1st set promptly gets broken. Up 6-4 tiebreaker loses set 8-6. This is almost comical

I'm cursed atm. Been losing on some very weird matches. Kohl almost winning this match all the time, till he suddenly loses in 2. Massive amount of breakballs wasted. 6-4 in firstset tiebreak, Kohl in full control of rally having a high short ball in middle of his court he throws into the net with a drop attempt, instead of just taking 1 more easy shot to end the set. Second set, full control of the set til 5-4, where he goes up 30-0 easy in own serve, to suddenly just lose the next 4 balls in a row. GSM Andujar.

he tossed the match.... he did this last year same tourney vs some scrub. He had no plans of sticking around. I was just cursed enough to have wagered on 3 of these players over my last 5 wagers

I try to predict the line befor hand and im usually bang on with this. The book is giving Riverios a ton of respect here. Line should be +300 imo +190 at a book who floats inflated lines when they know they will win tells me this will be close..
