It's so hard to have a future or even a ML bet on the guy ... You know he's going to make you sweat out at least one tiebreak.

Her upper thigh is wrapped. She has an injury, but I guess it's not as bad as we thought. You could criticize the reporters who cover this stuff for possibly exaggerating things ... I don't know. We'll see how she holds up as the match moves along.

Also on the Angels ... but runline. Not a lot riding on that because I am always afraid of Texas' bats.

Bartoli breaks to win the first set 7-5. I have to root for McHale in the second set to cash the over.

A great facepalm moment for McHale as she loses the first set on an unforced error.

I'm not watching Isner/Sock. Is Sock actually outplaying Isner with his return game or is Isner just playing like shit? On paper it's a monumental mismatch.

LoL @ the 4 double faults in one game from Bartoli in that game.

From the bits and pieces I've seen, Sock looks like he is serving well. Isner has chipped in with his typical wild unforced errors, but Sock's serve is no joke.

I've seen like 2 Isner service games, and his serve looked fine except for one double fault. I've missed a lot of return games where Sock was more competitive.

How many times does she just want to hit it in the middle of the net.

McHale pissing away that break may screw me out of the over. I need 10 games in this set, so McHale better get her s*** together and at least win 4 games.

Bartoli had the court wide open and blew it. haha. McHale can't keep waiting for Bartoli to make mistakes, though. She has to let it fly with the forehand more often.

If McHale gets this set she should win. Hopefully Bartoli just won't find her serve again.

Sock hit one just a tad long at 40-A, and Isner is about to serve for the match.

Just need one more game from McHale, and I'm home ...

WTA breakfest ... Isner served it out, btw. Roddick is his opponent in the semis, so whoever wins that one likely takes the crown in the ATL.

The only sure bet in WTA is that the players with lay eggs, flake out and shit the bed. God damn, is there a flakier sport that WTA? Serious question.

    Thank you, tevari.

Bartoli's serve looks awful at the moment, and she might fade if this goes to three. I think McHale can get this one for you guys if she can hold serve here.

I can't take this any more. Probably only betting WTA live in play from now on. Or huge dogs.

Call me weird, but I find WTA to be a gold mine. Dogs anywhere between +220ish and below hit, and hit frequently. Live betting is always good too, the women are extremely demonstrative with their emotions.

That is very true. You just need to know when to pick your spots. I've had bad luck as of late with that. Hopefully McHale can pull through.

It's good to try to train your brain to expect this when you bet on a WTA match. Just come into it knowing it will be a rollercoaster ride ... I wouldn't be surprised if it's better for our health to not watch these matches, but it'll affect our ability to know the form of certain players.

It's hard to resist betting these late-night matches, but they won't be on the West Coast much longer. That'll definitely help me stay away from WTA.
