Nice looking card today, so t wouldn't hurt to discuss some of the matchups and get the winners.

OK, if you insist, I'll go first.

    Beck @3.40
Hm, I know she didn't play since AO, but these odds sure look nice. As a great defender, she should thrive in these kind of playing conditions. She will run down most of the shots and really test Tsurenko's hitting today.

    De Bakker @2.07
Whenever Nieminen losses, he would say that conditions felt too slow for him to get his game going. So, he should struggle on these courts. De Bakker very talented hitter, but not necessarily the most reliable and consistant guy out there. So, this is more of a Nieminen fade, then anything else.

I might add few ideas later on. This is just to get the ball rolling. Get in!

Beck isn't the player you remember HB. I was blown away by how much she has declined when I watched her against Diyas. Diyas literally kept the ball in play (as she does) but Beck didn't even make her work for it. She was horrible. Ue after ue. A shithouse attitude too. Something I wasn't use to seeing with Annika.

I concluded after that match that I'll more than likely only ever take Beck on Indoor Hard this year.

I genuinely wasn't even surprised to see her lose 6-0 6-1 to Wang the week later. What an abysmal scoreline! But then, that's exactly what Beck was when I saw her play.

Imo she'll get soundly beaten, but good luck.

Thanks for the input JC. It's the oppinion which I really value around here.

First of all, I didn't even knew what I was talking about in first post. I saw part of that Diyas match as well and I still trusted ITF's shit site and said that she didn't play since Melbourne...

Regarding her shithouse attitude, her dog died last month. I know that's a longshot reason for bad performances/attitude, but who knows, people get attached to their pet animals.
And looking at that Diyas match strickly from a style matchup perspective, it's one of those where you have two similar players (imho), only that one of them does most of the things on higher level. In this case Diyas. The other player then has to go out of her comfort zone and try something else and that often doesn't end up well.

Once again, thanks for the comment. I'll definitely rethink this one.

I love my dog and would die for it. Very understandable

I know many people, who would say the same thing, Kenz. So yeah, we might have found the reason why Beck was unrecognizable lately.

Gajdosova getting a lot of love today. Watching her last week in Malaysia, I was tempted to back her myself. But that is one of those sides, which immidiately gets your attention (becuase of the short memory) when you go through the list, but you are not feeling that good about it, once you click the submit button on the betslip. And usualy that gut feeling is correct. That being said, Vinci +4?

Awesome. That's why we bother to post in instances like that.
